Remarks

I got into the Haldia Institute of Technology through my WBJEE marks. My overall experience with the admission procedure was smooth. One just has to sit in the counselling of WBJEE and then after the counselling is done one need to submit the required documents to college like aadhar card, pan card, mark sheet of 10th and 12 th and wbjee rank card xerox and fill certain documents in the college and after that one has to submit the college fees and other charges written.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because according to my WBJEE rank I got this course. Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering courses is basically a course where in the duration of 4 years one would learn Electronics, Instrumentation, some section of Computer science and industrial part also. The faculty members of this course are well trained and qualified. They help us both academically and non-academically. We got to learn things practically. We were a batch of 60 students and there were total of 12 to 15 faculty members assigned for our course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided by some companies only. The Internship is a stipend. Projects are done in the final year. Students are given to choice to choose their project topic and research on the project thoroughly and also Students get the opportunity to consult the faculty members for working on the project.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is average. Companies do visit the college like Wipro, cognizant, Capgemini etc and also some core companies visit the college like HPL, PCBL and moreover IT companies are mass recruiters so they take lots of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are approx 42k per semester and there were 8 semesters so all total the 3,36000. The fee structure of the college is quite affordable and moreover, you get lots of loan options and also scholarships.

Campus Life

The annual fest of Haldia Institute of Technology is Rivera and it is conducted in January or February. Haldia Institute of Technology has a very good library where there is a lot of books and journals and one can even get books for their curriculum as well as for placements. There are many social groups like NEEDS that help needy students to go to school and educate them. There are many technical groups also like ISA and ISOI, CSE, IEEE etc. These all groups are run by students and faculty members

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Okay college and decent placement

I choose this college due to affordable fees and the hostel facility near. But I think my desicion was wrong as it is not good engineering college as compared to the other colleges from noida ,ghaziabad and rest cities of India .This is because of followiong parameters that are good in those colleges.1.NO Regular cultural and technical fest. 2.Not any extra co cirricular activities such as dandiya, festive special programs and the main freshers part. 3. There is no farewell given to final year students by the college. 4. No convacation held. 3. No hightech infrastructure and AC classrooms.
