Companies like TCS,CTS, CAPGEMINI, ACCENTURE,LTI do come to our college and conduct placement test and take students based on their result ,in 7th sem the companies start coming also FIEM provides training for 3Rd year.

I chose this course because it can get me placements both in software and hardware department, it being a core subject course. In our college faculty student is fairly okay not extraordinary though All the professor are m.tech or beyond. Though all professor are not the best but some are really very good In b.tech exams are all over you throughout the year but generally main semester exam occur every six month with internals and practicals happening before that. Difficulty level of passing is way easy i believe

Students become eligible for placements from the end of the 6th Semester. There are various programs apart from the academics which take before placements to groom the students in every aspect. This includes Soft skills training, Interview etiquette, aptitude, and reasoning classes taken by external instructors. Many reputed MNCs visit campus like TCS, COGNIZANT, MINDTREE, WIPRO, INFOSYS, HCL Etc. Various core companies and start-ups also visit campus like Vodaphone.AMD, Newgen. These companies offer an average package of 4-10 LPA. The highest package was 14 LPA in Bentley which was grabbed by one of my friends in the CSE department. The Average package is 4 LPA which is offered by most of the companies that visit campus. More than 90 % of students get placed by the end of the course. If still any student/student doesn't get placed, the placement takes the responsibility of the placement even after the degree is over. I am currently doing an internship in Cognizant and planning to join the same.

Students are applicable for placement from the 6th sem only. Approx all knowingly MNCs visit the college and new starts were also there I am telling you again placement sector is best in FIEM. there were no companies who visited and not made any offers. The average package is 400000 and the maximum package is 1000000 Approx 80% or above were getting placed. My plan after Btech is pursuing MBA

As a first year student I know a little bit about placements, few senior students said us about placement, the average placement package is near about 4 lacs per annum. 95% of students get placements on campus.

They have a good placement record. Many renowned companies like CTS, Wipro, Infosys etc are coming every year for direct recruitment by interview. In my department, 90% of students have placed successfully. You can also go for the higher study if you want a better job.

I preferred this college according to my rank in WBJEE. Any my +2 level school was in the same campus. So being in the same campus was familiar with the place and gained interest too. I wanted to study CSE but unfortunately due to my rank I didn't get CSE in this college but still studying ECE for 4years was a great experience with such a great and helpful faculty members. I like the cultural programs that were held once a year and the various events, workshops and seminars helped me to gain a lot of knowledge in various fields other than curriculum. As a whole I can say for any U.G in Kolkata it would be a good choice to study here.

Because after the ranks were published, I chose this college as it provides great return in terms of investment as compared to other colleges and also easily accessible from my home. And since preferred stream was Electronics, I head that the placement was also good enough.
