Each semester , we have 9-10 courses. Majorly including relevant to management such as HRM, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, MIS etc. A some part of course comprises of subjects like Business Communication, Sociology, Psychology, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving that helps in overall development of students. But there are subjects like Economics, Geography and History that fails to fulfill the purpose. These subjects content can be improved in respect to management program . The frequency and timing of the exams are sufficient and can be easily dealt with.

The curriculum is highly relevant and has practical implications. I enjoy studying the diverse courses that are offered. Lots of cases are discussed and a lot of discussions are conducted. Exam frequency is okay considering we have only mid-term and end-term exams.

The curriculum is highly holistic. It includes subjects from all fields i. e., science\ commerce \ humanities. This gives easy opportunity for us to score well and focus more upon core subjects like accounts, finance, marketing. With each semester a new management related course is introduced which helps us prepare for our MBA before reaching MBA.

IIM Jammu launched its 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in 2021 and this will be the third batch that will get admission in 2023. As of now, no batch has passed out yet so it’s difficult to ascertain its worth. But for reference, I have tabulated the stats for PGP students
