Can I apply for distance education or correspondence course from here?

No, as of now the college only offers full-time academic programs. There are different streams available for UG, PG, and research courses. Also, there is accommodation available to outstation candidates. For details on available courses refer to the article above.

Are the courses here approved and affiliated?

All the courses at Central university are approved by AICTE for its conduct on campus. On successful course completion, a student is provided with a valid degree certificate which can be used for professional interviews and placements.

Are there any fee concessions or scholarships?

Last year, 4 undergraduate and 185 post-graduate students received full tuition fee reimbursement from Institution Funds. 2 undergraduate and 25 post-graduate students also received full tuition fee reimbursement from the State and/ or Central Government. The selection of such students is on the basis of merit.

Can I pursue a job while engaging in a full-time course at CUHP?

No, you will not be allowed to take up a job or any employment without prior approval of the university authorities. This approval will be provided to candidates who submit a NOC from the employer stating that they have been granted study leave for the duration of the program and are allowed to undertake obligatory work placement towards the fulfillment of the course requirement.

Eligibility

Except for Hindi and Sanskrit, all other specializations in the M.A. program at CUHP requires the applicants to qualify any Bachelor’s/UG degree from a recognized University.
M.A. in Hindi applicants need to hold an undergraduate degree in Hindi from a recognized university.
For M.A. in Sanskrit, applicants are required to have completed either an undergraduate degree in Sanskrit or the Shastri examination from a recognized University. Applicants who hold a Shastri qualification will be given 10% weightage on their score, limited to the prescribed maximum marks.
Applicants must have scored a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying exam.
Applicants have to appear for the CUHP conducted PG Entrance Test FEAT.

Selection Criteria

CUHP admits students on the basis of merit in the Further Education Admission Test (FEAT) Score.
The university releases three consecutive selection lists after declaration of the Admission Test results, on the basis of which students can register for admission.

NOTE:

The fee payable by the students is fixed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Academic Council and is notified in the Admission Brochure/Prospectus issued by the University from time to time.

1. An additional fee towards Professional Development Fund shall be chargeable as under:

a) Rs 4000/- per semester from the students admitted to MBA/MBA(TT)/MSW/MSc/BSc Hons.

b) Rs 1000/- per semester from the students admitted to all other PG Programmes of Study.

2. Tuition fee for offering audit course and ‘I’ grade will be Rs 100/- per credit.

3. For ‘F’, ‘I’ and audit course, examination fee will be Rs 100/- per credit.

NOTE: For any Programme of Study in Sanskrit, no tuition and admission fee shall be charged.

Fees and Financial Aid:

In first semester i paid around 5500 and in second semester 3500, third semester 3500 and fourth semester i pay for 3500.My batchmates fee is also same as like as me. I can get a scholarship from ugc net, when I cleared their exam.
