Campus life was Praiseworthy and Enjoyful.
There was independence day celebration, Republic day celebration in the month of August and January respectively.
The range and accessibility of books and journals were good enough.
Sports and extracurricular activities were occasionally.
There are no fests held(sorry if i am forgetting any) at the campus. Maybe at Dharamshala campus but none at Shahpur campus(where i studied).
The library is small but books are plenty for all the courses if the University. But, slighly outdated.
The classes are below par in infrastructure. MCA class wee held in CR 12 where benches were below par and a laptop couldn't be used in a comfortable manner. The IT lab however, was upto standards with good systems in place.
Sports and extracurricular activites were slim to none.
There were no student groups but you could join student political groups(ABVP,NSUI) if you are into that. RSS was also there.
Student participation and college support are both necessary for a dynamic campus environment. Supporting independence for students entails building the necessary infrastructure for social life and fostering new chances.
All the annual festivals are celebrated with full enthusiasm whether it is holi diwali or any other indian festival and all special days related to the courses are celebrated accordingly
Library is small but provides all the books needed
Facilities are the best
Sports events are held annually
HimSpark annual festival and in each national occasion program is conducted.
Library provides each resource with a large number of books.
Classrooms are smart classrooms with projectors and whiteboards.
Also, wifi facilities are available for each student with a separate ID and Password.
our university is scattered for the time being as the main campus for the university is in construction phases so we have buildings on rent but we have proper space for everything, classrooms are well equipped with inventory from desks to projectors.
This university lacks a permanent campus. It has been established on 2009 but still operates on rented buildings so it doesn't enjoys much of the environment as per other universities in India. The university have full wifi facility. Library is too small because of temporary campus but equipped with good books.
CUHP has no its own campus and running their half courses in Shahpur some in Dharamshala and some in Dehra. Library is too small with limited stocks of books edition for every department, wi_fi facility id up to mark and classrooms are on share basis. University also NSS program in which students takes part as volunteer.
Gender ratio in our University is 9 to 10. 9 girls per 10 boys. There are students comes from different region of country. It creates diversity of students here. We have totel 29 departments and students interacts with each other it gives a best communication experience. And there is no tolerance with regards to gender, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. We filled anti ragging form every year.
Over all the gender ration is equal if talk about whole University. And yes there is workshops ,guest lectures and some of the excellent alumini of the college who are doing well in present .And also there is us SPARSH SELL which take care of the students if there is happens something wrong with th students male of female. Yes every year electronic have take place for the members for the college and particular branch.
