St. Bede’s College is certainly one of the oldest and most renowned colleges in this country. Basically now a women’s college, it was set up as a teacher’s training institute by the Religious of Jesus and Mary. One can distinguish this college from the fact that it is the only college in Himachal Pradesh to have received an A accreditation by UGC and NAAC. The college has earned lot of appreciation and accomplishments. At St. Bede’s College, Shimla, admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses start around April–May, with the application form release and registration early in the season, and merit/cut-off lists published by July–August. After selection, you submit fees and complete enrollment, and classes begin after admissions are finalized for that academic year.
Admission to the courses is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The cut-off list will be published by the college. It mainly offers UG and PG programs.
