The coordination of different shifts, as there are two shifts (morning and afternoon), the college does a great job in alloting the class for ppl properly so that there is no commotion
The students and staff, all are very friendly, u will not know that you are entering a new space, they will make u feel comfortable, the ppl of sjcc is very kind if u give respect, but vice versa
The availablity, even though the campus is small, the resources, opportunities and knowledge u will get is immense, the thing about sjcc is "don't judge a book by it's cover".
Dislikes
The campus size, as for sports, there are sports, all type of sports, but the ground size is not that big, it will be difficult for any sports activities to take place, but it's possible
The strictness, even though its required for the betterment and safety of the students, sometimes I think it is too much.
Placement Experience:
Placements are available, the college is associated with many companies and organisations and each year 50-60% students get through placements.
It's not easy , u must maintain a good reputation in the college, ur stats must be decent.
Size of the campus , some times can be over crowded
Timings during exams , it can be very early or very late sometimes
Parking space is quite small compared to other colleges
Placement Experience:
Students are supposed to make a resume and can start applying for their jobs during third year they can take up extra courses as it would be add ons to their resume companies like goldman sachs ,EY and KPMG come here for hiring
I personally like the vibe of the college as in the people , the fests they conduct
I like the sports department of the college as it encourages a lot of sports like football, cricket, carrom, table tennis etc.
Dislikes
I felt that the campus could hv been little bigger and the parking space for vehicles are a bit less
Course Curriculum Overview:
The travel and tourism field motivated me to choose this B.Com Travel and Tourism course as the tourism sector is a booming industry.
The curriculum prepares the students exactly according to the world applications.
I personally feel maths could have been avoided as it doesn't create much of an impact for the course I have choosen.
The Faculty as well as the Infrastructure of the college as it provides all the necessary things to students
The placement opportunities, there a lot of them who gets opportunity from these placement.
Dislikes
Nothing much to tell only disadvantage is the campus being small when compared to other colleges.
Placement Experience:
Students eligable for placement are the ones who have hot 8 or more in their CGPA. Around 15% of the students gets placed. The average package is 20,00,000 p.a. All big 4 companies come here for recruitment. My plan is to get into tourism field.
The diversity in the college is very much. There is not much gender stereotypes and it's pretty much inclusive. And also there is anti ragging cell, sexual harrasment cell etc.
The library is quite big and comfortable. But there are issues with wifi at time but I think they will make it better.
The student teacher relationships. I dont know about other departments but in social work department it's much more free and easy to contact with the mentors.
Dislikes
There is so much steps in the college. Like everything is here and there. It was pretty much confusing as a beginner.
Magis canteen gets full around lunch time. Sometimes the lunch hour and study hour gets crashed coz of this.
Teachers in the other departments are not much likeable. Some of them are judgemental based on the courses. Especially science teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Oh the exposure we get on field is much more educative than in the class. The rural camp, tribal visit and the fieldworks has given me a lot of exposure both personally and professionally. Most of the things that we are taught in class has to be performed or applied in the field, which makes us more educated. But in the beginning everything was pretty hard to e figured out but I got the hang of it. And the mentors are most likely willing to help and assist.
Attendance is given a lot of preference and attending classes and lab sessions are made as ultimate goal for students.
The campus infrastructure is really at it's best. It has various blocks throughout the college in which the different streams have their day to day classes and lab sessions which takes place.
The various blocks are S block meaning Science block, N block meaning New Block, Aruppe block and Magis Block. The Aruppe block and Magis Block has canteen facilities. The aruppe canteen is a normal snacks and juice stuffs.

Some faculties just use ppt to teach and some information was found wrong. Well this is for only some of them because other faculties are really good.
Some of the events this year was found boring and not creative.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The specific aspects is that microbiology is a well developing scope of science in the world. We know how important this subject was when Covid had come to the world. It is related to this subject and find it's relevance everywhere.
The course curriculum had started with basics of microbiology and microbial techniques later getting deeper into the subject. The syllabus is set by our college faculties and department head and it is very relevant for future studies.
Improvement is needed in teaching methods. Otherwise it's a good place and subject.
We get enough time to prepare and write the exams. The papers are usually not difficult if you've prepared we'll. It is on a moderate level.
The best thing about the college is that it is located in the heart of the city.
The Faculty are well trained in most of the aspects, they have a good expertise in most of the areas.
The course which I have opted is tailor made for CA students. Through this we get a basic knowledge of what's in the subject.
Dislikes
One thing I don't like is the 2nd shift in the college. People just come to the college for showing off.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I opted the course because of pursuing CA. Bcom Regular basically constitutes all the subjects that are present in CA course. These subject has made us prolific in certain areas. It has also prepared us for many real world situations and exams. We are even given seminars every week and have to make PPT's .
The infrastructure and the college buildings are really cool
The location of the college is in the heart of bengaluru in central bengaluru being a plus point.
Dislikes
Being extremely strict about attendance.
Being extremely strict about dress code and hair
Not inviting celebrities for fests and competitions
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is actually pretty nice for a visual communication course, they teach graphic design as well as film arts, and now they are also teaching UI/UX which is very relevant and up to date thing for jobs
The college ambience and croud is really good with a wide range of community students.
The course integrated with a professional is very much affordable and easy to access
3rd shift available where students like me who work in the morning due to professional course requirement ca come to college after their work ad it only stats from 4 pm
Dislikes
The stupid rules the college have that are to be followed like cattle is a bit bothering as many small mistakes will ve taken seriously including using phone.
Would'nt say it is that strong but there is a little bit discrimination against 3rd ahift compared to 1st and 2nd shift students, though the teaching and all other sruff is the same its just for the timing but 3rd shift get special treatment as they
The gates close after 6.30 and students xannot enter or leave as they please ater that in the evening which is the other bad thing i found
Placement Experience:
Students ate eligible for campus placements frkm 5th sem.
All big 4 conpanies come to our college for recruiting.
Highest was 1200000 and average was 7.5l per annum.
Becoming an acca member is my plan after degree along with getting into a job
The faculty is very helpful and are well versed in the topics they reach and make it easy for the students to understand the subject better
The basketball court and other sports amenities are excellent
The college has a very lively campus and a friendly vibe to it which makes it even better.
Dislikes
The campus is one of the smallest you will see in Bangalore
The seats and benches are not the most comfortable.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements provided at St Joseph's College of commerce is one of the best in Bangalore students become eligible for campus placements in the final year of their degree and the highest package offered at this college was 22.5 LPA.
85% of the students get placements which says that it has a great placement program and offers the best to it's students.
