St. Joseph’s University, Bangalore, has released the detailed fee structure for its Doctorate programs for the 2026-27 academic year.

St. Joseph’s University (SJU), Bangalore, has officially announced the fee structure for Doctorate programs for the academic year 2026-27. The total academic fee ranges between ₹48,000 and ₹1.23 lakh, depending on the category, course type, and mode of study.
The university has also detailed fee components separately for Indian and foreign nationals, including full-time and part-time options under both academia and industry categories.

Note: Students who have not obtained their qualifying degree from a university in Karnataka must pay an additional eligibility fee to SJU Bangalore:

For select programs without a laboratory component, the total academic fee ranges between ₹28,000 and ₹48,000 for Indian nationals and USD 1,500 to USD 2,000 for foreign students, depending on the study mode (academia or industry).
All full-time research scholars will be entitled to a monthly research scholarship of ₹12,000 after completing their coursework. This initiative aims to support doctoral candidates in pursuing in-depth academic research during their Ph.D. tenure.
The 2025-26 fee structure remains similar, with total fees between ₹53,000 and ₹73,000 for Indian students and USD 1,800 to USD 2,300 for international students. The same scholarship and additional eligibility fee criteria were applicable for the previous academic year as well.
