SJU Bangalore Admission 2026 Begins @sju.edu.in; Apply By January 18

St Joseph's University (SJU), Bangalore, has begun admissions for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs for the 2026 academic session. Students can apply online until January 18, 2026, for Cycle 1.

The SJU Entrance Test (SJUET) is scheduled for January 18, 2026, and applicants are advised to check the official website for course details and updates.

The application fee for UG programs is ₹1,000, while for PG and PG Diploma programs, it is ₹1,200. Additional fees may apply for programs requiring an entrance test. Payment must be made online during the application process.

SJU UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility varies by program. For UG courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.

For B.Com, candidates must have passed the two-year Pre-University Course (PUC) of Karnataka State or an equivalent examination from any recognised board in India or abroad. No specific subject requirements, but applicants are usually expected to have studied commerce-related subjects in 12th grade.

For BBA, candidates must have completed their 12th standard (PUC or equivalent) from any recognized board. There are no specific subject requirements, but studying business-related subjects is preferred.

For B.Sc, applicants must have passed the two-year PUC examination with at least two science subjects as optional subjects, or an equivalent examination. For specific combinations like PCM, CBZ, and PEM, all three subjects must be studied at the +2 level.

For B.A, candidates should have passed the two-year PUC examination with any combination of optional subjects or an equivalent examination. Applicants must have studied English and at least one Indian or foreign language in 12th grade.

For B.Voc, eligibility requires a pass in 10+2 (any stream) or a diploma in any engineering branch from the Board of Technical Education, Karnataka, or an equivalent examination.

For BCA, candidates must have passed the +2 level (PUC, ISC, CBSE, NIOS, IGCSE, IB) from any recognized board. Those from non-science streams should have studied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Electronics at the +2 level.

For all courses, applicants must have studied English and at least one Indian or foreign language in their qualifying examination.

SJU PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For PG courses, applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.

For M.Com, candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in commerce or an equivalent course from a recognised university. Specifically, candidates who have passed the three-year BCom or BBM degree examination from Bangalore University or an equivalent university with at least 50% marks are eligible. The admission process considers entrance exams, academic performance, and interviews.

For MCA, applicants should have a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks, and they must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 or undergraduate level. The selection involves an entrance exam and an interview.

M.Sc. candidates should have scored a minimum of 55% marks in graduation in the relevant stream. For MA, candidates need a bachelor's degree in arts or related disciplines with a minimum qualifying 55%.

SJU PG Diploma 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For Postgraduate Diploma (PG Diploma) programs at St Joseph's University, Bangalore, the eligibility criteria generally require candidates to have completed any undergraduate degree from a recognised university with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in all core papers. Specific PG Diploma programs may have additional requirements.

The PG Diploma in Human Resource Management requires a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.
