St Joseph's College, Bangalore was founded in 1882 by the Fathers of the French Foreign Mission. It is one of the oldest colleges in the state of Karnataka with a history of more than 135 years. It has been conferred as College of Excellence by the University Grants Commission. The college is awarded a rating of A++, in the re-accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2018.
St Joseph's College, Bangalore offers BA, B.Sc., B. Com, BCA, B.Voc., and Bachelor of Social Work degree courses at the undergraduate level and MA, M.Sc., and Master of Social Work degree courses at the postgraduate level. The College also offers Diploma and PG Diploma courses.

St Joseph's College procedure is carried out in an online mode only. Once the form is submitted, and if candidates satisfy the eligibility condition, they will be informed about the entrance examination and/or personal interview through email.
Steps to apply are as follows:
- Visit the official website of St Joseph’s College.
- Candidates will have to go to ‘Apply Online’ option.
- Candidates will have to register by filling in the preliminary details such as - Course applying for, Candidate’s Name, Domicile Status, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, email address, etc.
- After registration, candidates will be redirected to the payment window for paying the application fee. Candidates can pay the fee using either NEFT or Debit/Credit Card only.
- After payment is confirmed candidates will be required to Log in using his/her email address and password.
- Candidates will then have to enter the basic details, academics details, and Contact information, etc. in the form
- Candidates will have to upload a recent passport size photograph and other documents.
- Read and verify all the details mentioned and make changes if necessary.
- Click on Submit button once you are sure that all the details filled in are correct.
- After submission of the form, candidates should wait for a few seconds for the server to generate the application form. Please do not press any other keys until the application number is generated.
Documents required to be uploaded:
- Scanned copy of Class XI or Class XII(if available) mark sheet
- Scanned copy of degree marks card(s) of all semesters/years for Post Graduate applicants.
- Scanned copy of recent passport size colour photograph with file size 10 kb - 300 kb (Dimensions - 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) in jpg/jpeg format.
Note:
- The application fee for any undergraduate course is Rs. 400 and for the post-graduate course is Rs. 600.
- In case of NEFT mode of payment, please note that it takes at least 24-48 hours before the UTR number of the NEFT is approved in the college system.

- The campus provides all facilities a student would need including a gym.
- There are water filters and washrooms on almost every floor in every building.
Dislikes
- class timings vary sometimes and during these hours we have to go to the library.
- students are not allowed to wander the premises of the college during free hours for third shift.
Admission:
I chose this college as it was more convenient for my family and the combination was not available in any other colleges. The other college I applied to was in Pune which was too far. The lag in result declaration of CUET exams was also a factor.

- I loved the certain infrastructure of college and the vibes that it gives
- The campus life is amazing too at this college

- The location of the college and how it's placed
- Then the placements that the college offers

So I only applied to this college and stuff Joseph's University but I wasn't very keen on going to Sju because I didn't like it a s college and what it offered I feel that SJCC is much better compared to in terms of commerce life and even having a fun college life

- The campus life is great at St Joseph's we can experience various cultures just in 3 years. We can find many students from various places all around India. They also have many things in campus for us to bond
- The extra curriculars are very helpful complimenting the academics. There are many fests and competitions for all students to participate and engage in peer learning throughout the course. The extracurriculars are entirely on volunteer basis.
Dislikes
- The class timings for science students are 9 to 5 on most days and for the commerce students its 7 to 11 which makes it tough for students to balance co curriculars after college hours. However it is easier if your Hostel is near college

I applied to Christ University and Mount Carmel College where i got selected. However I choose St Jospeh because of its vibrant campus and exciting college life to balance the rigor of the academic course. The admission process was simple and just one personal interview.

I Chose this college beacuse it is one of the top commerce colleges. It is the top 12th Bcom colleges. It is A++ NAAC Credited. We have to apply through online and then go to entrance exam or interview.

- The journalism course is under the English department instead of the mass media department

But first I got call from st Joseph's university.the admission procedure was based on merit and interview.i passed the interview.as I want to go out of Kerala but not too long from my home town I taught at Joseph's was the best option.my senior studies here shealso suggested here as a best.

Admission:
SJUET is mandatory for students applying for admission at SJU. Entrance is held in rounds and on the basis of marks once score in that, admissions are alloted. I applied for Christ University and SJU and I was qualified for both the colleges but I chose SJU as the academics are best here.

- The college really indulges in alot of events with a low budget instead of piling up all the capital and hosting one of the best events over a span of a week.
- The delay in the timings of any event that takes places really drains the energy of the students and the participants of the particular events.
Admission:
I opted to this particular college as I was formerly a josephite as well and really liked the culture as well as the kind of opportunities they offer and the values they stand for is really mesmerising. The admission process was really smooth with lead with a test firstly and then an interview where they asked us questions on what we had learnt in 11th and 12th. The whole process was really easy. Other colleges i wanted to join was christ University Bangalore. The problem with this college was that they had really strict guidelines on the dress code and other aspects with their curriculum which really left no breathing space for the students to develop in their skills out of academics as well which is why I chose Joseph's over christ and also Joseph's is really a more complete college which lets students express their talents in every field.

Admission:
The college had a reputation for its excellence. Admission procedure was very easy. I did applied to multiple colleges but because of the faster process I got call from St.Joseph asking me to join faster to acquire my seat. There was two interviews happened, one with the HoD , was a general section and another with the facilities ( more curriculum based) Once the two interviews get pass, you will get an e mail asking to join the course and will ask to pay yearly fee. You can even pay it quarterly wise according to your preference

St. Joseph College has been ranked as an A++ from the NAAC. In the near future, the college is expected to have achieved “university status”. In accordance with this development in the status of the college, the admission procedure has been improved and modified. Thus, the competition is high, and securing admission at St. Joseph College has become challenging.
- In order to become a part of St. Joseph College, Bangalore, you would have to apply for the BCA course.
- To begin with the process, you would be required to visit their official website and fill the online application form without errors.
- Choose the course you are willing to pursue from the given number of courses.
- Corresponding to your chosen course you would be notified about your written/ entrance examination or P.I (personal interview).
- Make sure to prepare yourself for these rounds as it is a deciding factor for your admission.
