Availability of three shifts with different timings so that even working students find it easy to attend classes make it very good.
Dislikes
Affordability of the college is something that is little hard.
There are few faculties who might not support you with your course which infact contrasts with the fact that the faculty is good and helping.
Facilities for public transport is very less and also rainy season makes it worse as many students have to wait 1 or even 2 hours in the night for their bus to arrive
Placement Experience:
After degree i olan to wirk for max 2 years and then apply for masters either through gate exam and go to IIT or go abroad. Other than that i prefer to go for job in camous placement opportunity that they will provide. Dislikes
The attendance is way too high and the leniency towards it as well
the fact that some teachers pick on you for being non kannada
the extra fees that has to be paid for being non kannada
Course Curriculum Overview:
the course material is quite accurate to what we are supposed to study and know. I'd say it's a little bit outdated but its still very much needed for social workers. The course has helped a lot of us change as people as well.
The stalls that are set in front of the new block almost every day
Dislikes
The journalism course is under the English department instead of the mass media department
Classes are cancelled at the very last minute
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is very repetitive, but if u want you can do a lot on your own. I expected broadcast journalism to be a part of the course which was not and we were under the English department so it's meh

The amount of diverse programs that SJU offers is significant as be it any stream arts, science or commerce over hundred programs are available here.
A learning experience which is no short of robust is provided here.
Various hostels are built within the famous and hostellers can enjoy a great campus life.
Dislikes
Study life balance becomes a mismatch here as studies are too rigorous here.
Placement Experience:
Placements which have become rare for BA students it's exactly the opposite for our course. Many start-ups as I said need students who knows international relations are maintained. Companies like Coco-Cola, P&G and HUL are among the top recruiters. Ab average salary of 40-50k is offered to students doing BA in International Relations. The strength is just 50+ and therefore to position ourselves and get a job at SJU is quite easy.
The lectures give there best to make understand the student
Dislikes
Some Students from other states are soo weird

The college is very cooperative and understanding when it comes to payment of fees or of any sort as they really respect everyone's financial background.
The college has an amazing campus which really doesn't need us as students to rely on any external venue when it comes to events or anything as such.
The faculty here are really one of the best we can find as 90% of the faculty members are really qualified with a PhD or a doctorate and have alot of experience as well.
Dislikes
The college really indulges in alot of events with a low budget instead of piling up all the capital and hosting one of the best events over a span of a week.
The delay in the timings of any event that takes places really drains the energy of the students and the participants of the particular events.
Lack of execution and decision making when it comes to activities that includes the whole college as there is alot of postponment and delays.
Placement Experience:
The college placements are really up to the mark and also have a good recruitment rate as well. Students from the 5th semester are eligible to apply for placements and sit for interviews if they do not of have any pending backlogs or other remarks from the management. The college does get reputed companies such as Accenture, EY, D.E Shaw as well. The highest paid package anyone has got in sju is 24 lakhs per annum a bcom graduate from the company known as D.E Shaw. Which really motivates other students to thrive through their academics and build amazing skills along the way to sit for placements.
The faculties were excellent and their teaching method was different. They were very supportive and helpful in all aspects
College does provided different activities and it was fun
College infrastructure was good, where we could gather together with friends. Have a nice cafeteria inside the campus with an excellent ambience of Quadra place
Dislikes
There were lot of gangs based on regions
Felt overpriced for the given fee and the service provided
There was no proper lab setup provided for us at the time
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum was aligning properly in terms of research which would be helpful for an aspirant looking for phD option after Masters.
I felt the college could have explored us more industrial experience as well as few certification courses.
Frequency of exams were good as it will be make us prepared for the final exams
The faculties are very supportive and friendly with students
Sports Activities are also very active and competitive in our college
Dislikes
The infrastructure of our college is not much good it is still work in progress
The College ground was too good when I joined the college but later it became very poor condition
Confiscating phones while using in college building is little bit too much
