Course Curriculum Overview

4

the course material is quite accurate to what we are supposed to study and know. I'd say it's a little bit outdated but its still very much needed for social workers. The course has helped a lot of us change as people as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay about 84k per year. i know there are scholarships available but I'm not very knowledgeable about it. We pay a huge amount and I think it's quite too much since we pay even more when we have things like fieldwork and all so a lot of money goes into just travel apart from tuition

Campus Life

4

My campus life is very good , I have fun almost every other day and I meet new people almost every other day. It's quite nice to meet different people who are nice as well. I've been having a great time at SJU. The fests are amazing , the stalls are also very cool and have a lot to offer. The library it quite vast and has a digital library as well.

Hostel Facilities

4

i don't know much about the hostel but from what I've heard , students don't prefer the hostel because the rooms are very outdated and the wardens are very strict and the food isn't the best. And it's overpriced

Admission

i wanted to come to Bangalore , and be away from home and the first college I was asked to look at was SJU. I had applied at Christ and Kristu jayanti as well. I got into both but my first choice was SJU because I had a few seniors as friends who told me it's a nicer college. My admission process wasn't too difficult or tedious, i just had two stages of an online interview.

Faculty

4

The faculty members are actually very good. I'd say the majority of them are the sweetest most nicest people and actually teach us something while maybe a handful make college difficult. Overall SJU has an outstanding faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Oh the exposure we get on field is much more educative than in the class. The rural camp, tribal visit and the fieldworks has given me a lot of exposure both personally and professionally. Most of the things that we are taught in class has to be performed or applied in the field, which makes us more educated. But in the beginning everything was pretty hard to e figured out but I got the hang of it. And the mentors are most likely willing to help and assist.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked the subject social and I like doing social activities and being social. I knew that this is what's best for me. All the faculties of my course and we'll educated and they teach the subjects well. First semester exams were online and the term exams were offline, it was a bit tough because the classes till then were online and for me personally online classes were tough because I won't be able to concentrate. But now since offline has started it's better for me.
