Remarks

It is one of the oldest colleges in Karnataka. All the PG programmes are reasearch oriented and hence gives an over view of research. They also conducts many annual festivals and national quizzes. English department has teachers who are well qualified. Their down-to-the-earth kind of behaviour and attitude towards students make them extraordinary. They are well experienced too.

Course Curriculum Overview

MA English Literature at St. Joseph's is a research oriented course. Teachers are so helpful throughout the academics. They are so experienced. Prof. Etienne Rassendren is one of the best and most experienced faculty in the college.

Placement Experience

5

The placements for PG life sciences aren't that opportunistic. The college has tie up with many institutions for 6 months dissertation programme for course completion. The students are allowed to experience the research world through this opportunity. No stipend is provided during the course.

College Events

5

College campus provides an exquisite ambiance. They do conduct a lot of annual and cultural festivals. "Miraki" is one among those. Management supports students in each and every aspect. The laboratories are well equipped with high end equipments for research students. There is a well established sports department providing a good mentoring and opportunities in sport's events for both indoor and outdoor sports. The students involved in extracurricular activities are encouraged with special care equally in academics.

Placement Experience:

Placements are around 90 percent in the Computer Science course with average package of 600000 and highest package of 5100000 till date. A great number of companies visit the college for hiring making it a great opportunity to the students to showcase their capabilities to the recruiters. My plans are to pursue civil services and serve the country as soon as I complete my degree.

Remarks:

Ranked 14 for BBA by India Today. I was impressed with the curriculum and infrastructure so opted to apply for BBA, I visited the official website and entered the basic details like email-ID and mobile number to register. Admission to this course is subject to a valid score in JET on fulfilment of the set minimum eligibility criteria. The best thing about the course is the exposure you get. I chose this course to explore the business field. Something that made it better by making the course more practical than theoretical.

Placement Experience:

From 5th-semester placement opportunities starts , but they will start the training from 4th semester itseems. We will be having companies like Wipro, ICICI Bank, basically most of the IT sector companies. I think almost 75% to 90% use to get placed in campus placement. Rest they might be trying for higher studies. I myself planning to do my master's in the same college because that much I love my college

The students in our college are eligible in the second year only as the training programs provided help us in an unexplainable way. There are high percentages of getting placements to every student. Getting a placement and starting immediately. And I’m planning for my master degree too
