Remarks

I had applied for the admission on march 31st and I got the interview mail by the end of April and my interview was by the end of May. There was no entrance exam it was straight interview. The admission was based on our 10th and 11th grade marks. Then right after the interview I was told that I am admitted to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I liked the subject social and I like doing social activities and being social. I knew that this is what's best for me. All the faculties of my course and we'll educated and they teach the subjects well. First semester exams were online and the term exams were offline, it was a bit tough because the classes till then were online and for me personally online classes were tough because I won't be able to concentrate. But now since offline has started it's better for me.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I'm a first year student and I don't know much about the internship opportunities here but I've heard that they provide good internships from the final year. Even in my course they give us opportunities to do internships in different NGOs. I'm doing a BSW course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was fine for me, it was a reasonable rate it included the amounts to be spent on our rural and village visits but, what I want them to make a change is that we have fieldworks on every Thursday and Friday and if they keep the fieldworks on any other place other than in the college itself, they ask us to come by ourselves to the organizations and we all have to pay our own money and find our own transportations. So it would be nice and helpful if they assign college bus or any transportation methods to drop is to the location.

Campus Life

4.5

Pratibha is our annual fest and it was conducted on march. It was a really good fest and we have more fests coming. There are a lot of books in the library, books of different varieties and different areas of interests. A vast collection of different types of books in library.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Facilities provided in the room is fine except for my bed which was made of cardboards in the centre part and half of them were not there. Meal provide here is not that great except for lunch. They give pasta for breakfast which is mostly over boiled. And rice and sambar which is mostly waterish for dinner. The rate is affordable but if we move out in between a semester they would ask us to pay the mess fees of the rest of the months and then vacate. The curfew is 6pm which is so hard to manage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Oh the exposure we get on field is much more educative than in the class. The rural camp, tribal visit and the fieldworks has given me a lot of exposure both personally and professionally. Most of the things that we are taught in class has to be performed or applied in the field, which makes us more educated. But in the beginning everything was pretty hard to e figured out but I got the hang of it. And the mentors are most likely willing to help and assist.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course material is quite accurate to what we are supposed to study and know. I'd say it's a little bit outdated but its still very much needed for social workers. The course has helped a lot of us change as people as well.
