Course Curriculum Overview

5

I would rate the course 8/10. It effectively combines theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, ensuring students are well prepared for real world social work challenges. There's so many subjects which provides a strong foundation as a social worker.

Internships Opportunities

5

Every year, the department provide us with internship opportunities where we can choose where to go and do an internship for one month which gives us good exposure and certificate which has value. It helps for our future career and job opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for my college is 75000, which can be conveniently paid in a semester wise basis. This make it more manageable as the fee for each semester amounts to 37,500., payable at the start of the respective term. This structured payment system ensures that students and their families have ample time to plan and arrange for funds. Overall, the semester wise payment option and clear communication about changes in fees make it easier for students to plan financially throughout their academic journey.

Campus Life

1

I personally, didn't join any club but the department always had programs coming up so had to take part in those. The infrastructure is pretty not good because the campus is not huge so we need to take appointments prior to every event. It's always clashed and somehow go through it.

Admission

I always wanted to study in banglore and since I was opting for BSW, I thought joining St Joseph's would be the best idea instead of ending up in random colleges because banglore was a dream for me and I always wanted to have exposures in my study and this course in Joseph's , helps to reach out so many places and gets good exposure

Faculty

5

The faculty members are very helpful and supports the students in every ways. They guide and mould us to become a better person in the society. They never judge instead we can go talk to them about anything and they will always support with at-most love and care.

Night Life

5

It's beautiful. The campus looks amazing during the night because of the lights and stuff. The campus area will always be crowded with students because most of them live next to the campus. The canteen always has good food and the stalls outside are also the best to crave on during class hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Oh the exposure we get on field is much more educative than in the class. The rural camp, tribal visit and the fieldworks has given me a lot of exposure both personally and professionally. Most of the things that we are taught in class has to be performed or applied in the field, which makes us more educated. But in the beginning everything was pretty hard to e figured out but I got the hang of it. And the mentors are most likely willing to help and assist.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course material is quite accurate to what we are supposed to study and know. I'd say it's a little bit outdated but its still very much needed for social workers. The course has helped a lot of us change as people as well.

I chose this course because I liked the subject social and I like doing social activities and being social. I knew that this is what's best for me. All the faculties of my course and we'll educated and they teach the subjects well. First semester exams were online and the term exams were offline, it was a bit tough because the classes till then were online and for me personally online classes were tough because I won't be able to concentrate. But now since offline has started it's better for me.
