The faculty to student ratio is about 20:1700 , All the faculty are very friendly with the students in case of studies they also help us in learning many new things.
The faculty i like upto now is Dr.cinu and Dr G.bhanu chandar i personally like these two teachers because they are very kind towards students and helped me a lot they have best knowledge and no ego.
I like all the faculty.
There are only two exams Mid sem and end semister exams compared to end sem mid sem exas are very tough only a few students fail to clear the exams ,really our course is very usefull for us
All the faculty are approachable and helpout whenever required.
In terms of doubts or any other issues such as attendance and such
The faculty to student ratio but easily be around 1:50
We have 2 exams every semester that is the mid sem and the finals
Internals are taken also into consideration such as assignments labs and quizes they account for just as much as finals
8:1 faculty ratio.
almost all faculty members are phd holders.knowledge wise they are the best.
The course is of 4 years ( 8 sems)
previously each sem is of 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exam and 1 final lab exam
but now it is been changed to 1 mid exam and 1 end exam and 1 final lab exam.
where in end exam or mid exam there would be around 4 to 8 subjects depending on which sem you are studying.
Honest opinion: Studying a day before the exam would get you 8.5 gpa plus thats what i was saying no study pressure.
Good amount of faculties are there. The ratio is good. Lecturers are really good and proficient. The teach in english so language barrier is not a huge problem. Each sem there is a mid sem exam and an end sem exam. Grading is relative.
The faculty to student ratio is satisfactory. Some of the faculties are good at their jobs and some make you wonder how they passed high school. So it's a mixed bag. There is one mid sem and one end sem exam. They are pretty easy to pass but not easy to score well.
Faculties are good in the collage and they provided good hostels in the campus itself the exams are difficult in our collage we can approach the faculty regarding and doubts in subject related topics and they explain very well
The faculty at IIIT Kottayam generally receive positive feedback from students, but like any institute, there are both strengths and areas for improvement. There are some faculties which are good and some faculties are not good like other institute of national importance colleges.
The faculty to student ratio is quite high. All the Professors are highly educated with atleast one Phd amd are thorough with the subject. There are usually two exams per semester, first the mid sem , which as the name suggests happens in the mid of the semester. And then the finals.
Faculties are very helpful. One can write reseach papers under them
Faculty:
The faculties are too good. They always try to help you in the best possible way. Each one of them holds a doctorate from the prestigious universities of the nation. One can also write research papers under their guidance.
Most of the professors are really helpful. Also seniors take lots of initiatives through various clubs(technical as well as cultural). The curriculum ensures that students are taught and prepared according to the current industrial requirements.
Faculty:
All the faculty members are well qualified. Most of them are ready to solve any queries of the students. For the first years the student teacher ratio was like 1 to 150 but this was not much of a problem I guess. There are digital boards in the classrooms. The lab hours are also not too bad.
Although we had some really brilliant professors (some were more eager to teach than the students were in learning), there were some exceptions. For example for our computer architecture course we had a professor who knew as much about he course she was teaching as I know about Malayalam(I am Marathi).
But I think this was managments mistake as she was maybe assigned a subject she didn't know about. They ought to be more careful in this regard.
