IIIT Kottayam Faculty

The faculty at the college are highly qualified, with most holding PhDs from prestigious institutions both in India and abroad, including IITs and international universities like the University of Linz and TUM Germany. Visiting faculty from IIT Madras enhance the learning experience weekly. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:50. Faculty members are experienced, possess deep knowledge, and are approachable, ensuring they address student queries effectively.

They provide an orientation at the start of the term, allowing students to choose four subjects per semester based on interest. The course structure includes two main exams per semester, with practical sessions highly emphasized for hands-on experience. Despite some inconsistencies in teaching quality, the overall feedback is positive, with faculty being supportive, providing study materials, and helping with exam preparation.
