Mess food is getting worse each and every day
Strict hostel hours. Its a central hov college but rules and too strict. No night roaming

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is pretty updated and teaching methods are also very good. Industrial level application is done in every subject and faculties are open to discuss the real time applications as well. Frequency and timing of exam is very well balanced

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered by facilities as well in the form of different projects. There are faculties for every field where we can approach them and they will give us the info we need. Stipends vary for different jobs

Placement Experience

This year placement is going on and many are getting good packages. Last year the placement average was about 10 lakhs ctc so this year also we are expecting that. Highest package was 42 L. Many big companies are recruiting from this college

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester the total fee including tution fee and hostel and mess fee come around 170000. Tution fee is around 107000 and rest mess and hostel combined. As per my knowledge there is no reservation other than SC/ST.

Campus Life

Campus life was pretty dope when I got here but now its getting dull. Restrictions are imposed on night walks and roaming in campus. Other than that everything is fine. Many cultural and tech clubs are working efficiently

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is pretty new. Three students per room. Each room has three beds two wardrobes three chair and three tables. Wifi is available. Common washroom and they clean it everyday. Wifi is unstable sometimes but it's manageable

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

This is an institute with national importance and I got through JEE. I opted this college because of its reputation and also Im from kerala. The placement statistics also made me consider this institution

Faculty

Good amount of faculties are there. The ratio is good. Lecturers are really good and proficient. The teach in english so language barrier is not a huge problem. Each sem there is a mid sem exam and an end sem exam. Grading is relative.

Night Life

Night life is zero. The college is in a remote place plus the night restrictions so you cant go out. Hang out places like munnar vagamon kumarakam kochi etc are under 3 hour from here and weekends are the only option to visit

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. IIITK hostel nightmares

The college has a very attractive campus and it is very new so the facilities are also relatively new. no placements but good to explore your interests

The only reason I choosed this college is because of it placements but now they are worst for my batch almost 70 percent people are unplaced. and i choosed this college because i wanted cse and either i could get lower branches in top colleges or top branchs in low colleges. so i preffered choosing cse. i applied for NIT Suratkal, NIT Warangal mechanical BUt i felt CSE Would be much better so i end up landing here. the other reason why i preferad my college is because of its beautiful campus. yes i got rejected from nit surathkal cse because my jee rank was low...Read More
