Likes

Internet availability at the hostels are very good
Gymnasium is available for the students for 1000 per sem
Different stores inside the campus can take care of the basic amenities

Dislikes

Food in the mess of disastrous quality and too expensive
Wifi in the first year hostels are bad and inconsistent
Location of the college is in the middle of nowhere

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and the subjects being taught are said to be relevant in today's job market and more oriented to securing a job. The exams are difficult to an extend but the marking scheme is percentile based.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 264000 per year

Placement Experience

CS placements in this college is satisfactory about 12 lpa average. Only one ECE batch has passed out so far and as far as I know ECE placements have been not that great. But I guess it has improved a bit this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Each semester costs 1.24 lakhs and it increases every year. New admissions pay higher than what their seniors are paying for the same semester. Scholarships are available. Details can be checked on the college official website

Campus Life

The social life in this college is pretty low to non existent. The Events are underwhelming and the location of the college is very remote so there not really anything to do outside the college as well. If you wanna chose a college for the college life I would not recommend this college.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms were made for 2 people but currently accommodates 3 so it's a bit cramped. There are ethernet ports with very high speed internet 1Gbps. Mess food quality is very bad and it's inedible a lot of the days.

Admission

I applied to this college through CSAB and got in on the last round. This college was only 4hrs away from my home and the reviews that I saw were all positive. Admissions are through JEE Mains only. There is a DASA quota for foreign students

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is satisfactory. Some of the faculties are good at their jobs and some make you wonder how they passed high school. So it's a mixed bag. There is one mid sem and one end sem exam. They are pretty easy to pass but not easy to score well.

Night Life

The locality around the college is pretty safe. Students should be inside the campus before 9:00 pm and we can roam around the campus till 11 after that you need to get back in your hostel. There is a gym and 4 cafeterias inside the campus and a salon

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

The college has a very attractive campus and it is very new so the facilities are also relatively new. no placements but good to explore your interests
