Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum not only focuses on the theoretical side of the course but also prepares us for real world applications. The curriculum alao consists of training on subjects outside of the programming lvl, like how to prepare us for interviews, how to prepare us to go abroad, teaching foreign languages, etc.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible to sit for most campus placements by their 5th or 6th semesters. The highest package offered yet was around 59 LPA. The highesr international package offered yet was around 44 LPA. And the average package offered is around 14 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee amounts to 3,20,000 Indian Rupees. It is paid as half yearly though. Before every semester begins we have to pay 1,60,000 Indian Rupees. We have 2 semesters a year. The mess Fee and Hostel fee for each semester is around 26,000 Indian Rupees each.

Campus Life

The anual tech fest a.k.a. APOORV is held every year around the time of march. There are other small fests held for various occasions like onam, etc. There are mainly 4 clubs in the college, Trendles, Wildbeats, Betalabs, Sports.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel facilities are average. Three people share per room. But the Mess food is bad. Its really bad. The registration for hostel and mess is along with the admission process at the time of admission.

Hostel Fee: INR 52000 per year

Admission

This college is of national importance and therefore not easy to get into. One has to score a good score on the joint entrance exam(JEE). That is the only exam accepted for the admission process. The admission process is nice.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is quite high. All the Professors are highly educated with atleast one Phd amd are thorough with the subject. There are usually two exams per semester, first the mid sem , which as the name suggests happens in the mid of the semester. And then the finals.

Remarks:

Remarks:

Positive remarks is the college is autonomous because we are directly under the Cochin University of Science and Technology. So the CUSAT name plays a big role in whole Kerala. The certificate has a big value. In case of negative remarks, some works are not doing properly, like small maintenance work and all.

IIITK hostel nightmares

The college has a very attractive campus and it is very new so the facilities are also relatively new. no placements but good to explore your interests

The only reason I choosed this college is because of it placements but now they are worst for my batch almost 70 percent people are unplaced. and i choosed this college because i wanted cse and either i could get lower branches in top colleges or top branchs in low colleges. so i preffered choosing cse. i applied for NIT Suratkal, NIT Warangal mechanical BUt i felt CSE Would be much better so i end up landing here. the other reason why i preferad my college is because of its beautiful campus. yes i got rejected from nit surathkal cse because my jee rank was low...Read More
