NIFT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 4th year, last semester, students become eligible for placements. Companies like, groyyo, arvind, Myntra, wfx, decathalon, and other big manufacturers and brands have visited for campus placement, in total atleast 20-30 companies comes for placement per campus. On an average, 10-20 places have been offered from each company. Highest package in my year was 120000 and minimum was 400000 in bachelor's in fashion technology. you can also get PPO while doing graduation internship. Atleast 40% people are placed via campus placement, others mostly find jobs via PPO or offline hirings. I have plans to become Consultant in fashion industry for a software company or mnc. I am keen towards Learning new things and explore.

4th year is actually when the placements start. NIFT makes sure you get a job but doesn't make sure that it is a good one. I think the average package for this course is somewhere around 6-9lpa and the highest is not more than 15.

The placements are decent. Students can avail of placements opportunities as they are in their final year, and almost every student gets placed in the college. I would go for the post-graduation course after completing my degree.

There are reputed companies offering placements, like Raymond, and Reliance, and more reputed companies offering great positions. Moreover, the maximum package includes 11lpa with a minimum of 5 LPA.

11 Lpa is the highest package offered with a minimum of around 5-6 Lpa. About 97% of students receive placement every year. Reputed companies like Reliance, Raymond, and many more offer various posts to students.

Bachelor in fashion technology course is absolutely one of the best courses. It is quite an intresting course as you have studied their fashion along with technology or you can say that this subject is a combination of all subjects. The main intresting thing about this course is that on one side you are studying the construction of garments and on the other side you are studied technology-related subjects like coding. This makes this subject unique. There is only 30 student present in class then you can imagine how less crowded it is. The student faculty ratio is quite impressive. All teachers are well qualified and well experienced in their respective fields. some of them are initial. They nearly teach everything. Every subject is practically based and they know how to teach students that we can get it easily. There is 2 semester in each year and there are four years in this course. In each semester you have to face 2 assignment sessions and one jury session. The exam is not so tough.

Once you will complete your seventh semester then you are eligible for campus placement . For campus placement, your academic score should be good. Your attendance should be fair. And you must be participate in other compilations it should be beneficial for you. Companies like Amazon ,Flipkart , Raymond, siyaraam, Arvind mills, etc are available for campus placement. They give you a lot of job opportunities. Almost ninety percent of students get placement from gift Delhi Institute. My plan after getting the degree is that I have to work for my own company which I will be open once I complete my degree.

Course was interesting. I went through quora. The course was new and encompassed new concepts that developed my interest. The central government aspect of the college gave more edge to the college. The location also developed an interest in the college.

I knew a lot about fashion technology since my standard 10, when my brother in law introduced me to it, who himself is from the same course. Hence it remained as my first choice in choosing my carrier at standard 12.

Overall it's so good. But the mess quality of food can be improved. Apart from that, the size of the campus is too small and could be of a bigger size than usual. Yet the education standards and the encouragement for extra curriculurs are damn awesome
