Remarks

Overall it's so good. But the mess quality of food can be improved. Apart from that, the size of the campus is too small and could be of a bigger size than usual. Yet the education standards and the encouragement for extra curriculurs are damn awesome

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is so good. It is handled my expert faculties. The course has a lot of scope as well. By the end of each semester, there are either written exams or jury based evaluation where people from outside ask viva and check the learning process through. There are also assignments given between the semester which are evaluated by the faculties.

Placement Experience

Yes, there are very good placement opportunities. In fact 100% guaranteed placement is available in the college. During the 8th semester, internships are offered from the college itself as graduation project and thus it gives an easy platform for the placement

College Events

Onam, diwali, independence day, dussehra, freshers day, pongal and many other events are celebrated in the college. Apart from that culturals and spectrum happen in very huge numbers of people participating and all events happen with real fun and enjoyment

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive in the college since, it requires 3 lakhs of money for completing an year of college. Apart from that we require money for the assignments and fabrics, so it is quite expensive when we complete the journey

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah there is a semester wise scholarship offered to people who can't afford to the fees and the eligibility criteria for it is based on the parental income. People who are found eligible by an interview are refunded even 100%of the college fees based upon their parental income. Apart from that there are also laptop policies and other good facilities to help the students

Campus Life

There is a basketball court, a spacious auditorium, an amphitheater for events to take place, a badminton and volleyball court. Coming to lab facilities, it is awesome as they are maintained properly and taken care.

Hostel Facilities

No, I haven't opted for hostel, since there is no hostel provided for the boys. But hostel facilities are available for the girls and the food is quite okay. But the rooms are quite big and spacious.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah the seniors are so helpful as we gain a lot of experience from them on how good we need to complete the assignments and projects. The college itself arranges a meeting with the alumini who share their experience in the industry which helps us

Admission

An entrance exam consisting of 150 questions must be answered which consists box general knowledge, english and mathematics. All India based ranks are given through which we apply for counseling and the seats are filled from the rank one based upon the desired college

Faculty

Very experienced and go on practical teaching rather than theoretical ones. They cover not only the syllabus things but also they provide the knowledge and confidence to work in an industry in the future. They are easy approachable and clear the doubts instantaneously.

NSUT review as a first year student

Placement Experience:

students get elligible for campus placement in the fourth year. Although have heard some students say to focus more on skills as working in a studio will be better than placement and have also not heard such good news about the amount of students getting placement. my plans too is to focus on skills more than the grades as that would be more helpful and is whats needed more for the career i am going for, instead of the marks i got on writing theory in my answer sheets

Placement Experience:

Speaking about placements I have very little knowledge about it as I am in first year, but after engaging with some really helpful seniors there has been a good hype in the campus placements and I've also heard very reputable companies have accepted students from this college. Also to mention the most important part of this college is it has a 99% placement program which really stood out to me, while talkin to the administrative staff my interest piqued when I heard there was a student who got 12lakh per annum placement opportunity

The real designing college

Placement Experience:

The insiders of NIFT delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to opt for something related to marketing side or more like something that requires digital work. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in my batch. My faculty is very knowledgeable. I have a good experience in teaching (not all but mostly) with them. The term exams are timely scheduled and it is not easy to pass a exam but it is not also very difficult. If you work consistently throughput the semester you would score a good grade in the end.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligiblr for campus placements from 4th year. But you can get PPOs if are good. You can get exciting internships from 2nd year. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for placements. A total of 1300 jobs were offered in 2023. 260 PPOs and 30 international offers very also there.

NIFT Delhi - A total walkthrough

I had applied for CEED and didn't qualify. And in NIFT exam I secured the rank 30 and got nift delhi as its the best campus of all over nift. I took this campus. You need to complete any bachelor's background for this exam. They only accept nift entrance scores. Admission experience is pretty smooth as everything is online. And cutoffs varies every year. I didn't apply for any other colleges. I just got to know about nift only. I just wanted to pursue my career in arts and fashion. Also if I would have known about NID I might applied for that only. Because the product designing I'm doing here is way better there than here. Also to get into NIFT Delhi's B.Des. (Accessory Design) program, you'll need to ace the entrance exam, which includes a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Life in NIFT

Nift is a government College and the fee for it is the least compared to the other fashion colleges. I didn't not apply to even a single other college since I thought I'll just give it a try and fortunately I got in in the first go itself. But I did apply for the uceed exam , my score was 50 marks less and I couldn't make it for that exam . The uceed exam was way tricky than the nift entrance. Nift has a simple admiss Process, you apply for the exam. You give the CAT and GAT exams which are scheduled on the same day itself of 2hrs and 3hrs respectively. Cat is the drawing exam and the gat is for the science maths gk social science etc knowledge test. After you pass this exam then you get selected for the situation test which is a studio based test where you get the materials and 3hrs and you have to then make something with the give material and the provide topics. Then you get a rank Accor to which you sit for the counselling and get the admission in one of the 19 campus in india...Read More
