Remarks

I knew a lot about fashion technology since my standard 10, when my brother in law introduced me to it, who himself is from the same course. Hence it remained as my first choice in choosing my carrier at standard 12.

Course Curriculum Overview

My college runs on an updated curriculum and at the near end of each semester, we visit to different industries like garment finishing and dyeing according to the subjects we deal with. The faculties were very kind and leisure except on final evaluation what we call us jury, since people from outside also come to judge us. Apart from that faculties are so good when it comes to clearing doubts and teaching

I don't have too much idea about that but an alumni from our department had given us motivation about the higher end salary packages on the case of how much effort we put in during college days. The job placement happens in our college where people from any centers can approach us. We would be filtered upon the CGPA we scored, like above and below 7

College Events

Our college rates excellent when it comes to social life and extracurricular activities. It's because there isn't any festival that we fail to celebrate. We as the students take responsibility in make celebrations so cheerful.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college gives us the opportunity of availing two scholarships in an year according to the parental income. This scholarship can reduce 50-100% of our total fees for an year. The second scholarship is for accessing laptops for students in a zero interest EMI.

Campus Life

The campus is quite small, but we have good features like free wi-fi, a basketball court, an amphitheater to chill out in breaks and music room and library to gain knowledge. Apart from that we have labs at each and every departments which are well maintained. The labs contain machineries and equipments that aren't too obsolete and coordinate us well at work.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel for boys and for girls, the hostel fees adds up to one lakh and ten thousand per year. Also the facility of hostel for girls is usually for freshers and 2nd year students only. The PGs are to be paid in a monthly basis. These pgs vary according to the choice of a person. It can be as cheap as ?6500 in triple sharing as well as, so high as ?10000 in triple sharing.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

NSUT review as a first year student

Placement Experience:

students get elligible for campus placement in the fourth year. Although have heard some students say to focus more on skills as working in a studio will be better than placement and have also not heard such good news about the amount of students getting placement. my plans too is to focus on skills more than the grades as that would be more helpful and is whats needed more for the career i am going for, instead of the marks i got on writing theory in my answer sheets

Placement Experience:

Speaking about placements I have very little knowledge about it as I am in first year, but after engaging with some really helpful seniors there has been a good hype in the campus placements and I've also heard very reputable companies have accepted students from this college. Also to mention the most important part of this college is it has a 99% placement program which really stood out to me, while talkin to the administrative staff my interest piqued when I heard there was a student who got 12lakh per annum placement opportunity

The real designing college

Placement Experience:

College placements are good enough. A whole week is dedicated to that. Students get enough opportunities throughout the course and are offered jobs in 4th year. Even after that if placement hasn't happened, the college faculties have enough contacts.

The insiders of NIFT delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to opt for something related to marketing side or more like something that requires digital work. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in my batch. My faculty is very knowledgeable. I have a good experience in teaching (not all but mostly) with them. The term exams are timely scheduled and it is not easy to pass a exam but it is not also very difficult. If you work consistently throughput the semester you would score a good grade in the end.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligiblr for campus placements from 4th year. But you can get PPOs if are good. You can get exciting internships from 2nd year. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for placements. A total of 1300 jobs were offered in 2023. 260 PPOs and 30 international offers very also there.

The reason i chose this college is first, because of its location in himachal. second the goverment institute provide perks which were not there in private institutes. NIFT Delhi - A total walkthrough

I had applied for CEED and didn't qualify. And in NIFT exam I secured the rank 30 and got nift delhi as its the best campus of all over nift. I took this campus. You need to complete any bachelor's background for this exam. They only accept nift entrance scores. Admission experience is pretty smooth as everything is online. And cutoffs varies every year. A Glimpse into NIFT New Delhi

I didn't apply for any other colleges. I just got to know about nift only. I just wanted to pursue my career in arts and fashion. Also if I would have known about NID I might applied for that only. Because the product designing I'm doing here is way better there than here. Also to get into NIFT Delhi's B.Des. (Accessory Design) program, you'll need to ace the entrance exam, which includes a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Life in NIFT

Nift is a government College and the fee for it is the least compared to the other fashion colleges. I didn't not apply to even a single other college since I thought I'll just give it a try and fortunately I got in in the first go itself. But I did apply for the uceed exam , my score was 50 marks less and I couldn't make it for that exam . The uceed exam was way tricky than the nift entrance. Nift has a simple admiss Process, you apply for the exam. You give the CAT and GAT exams which are scheduled on the same day itself of 2hrs and 3hrs respectively. Cat is the drawing exam and the gat is for the science maths gk social science etc knowledge test. After you pass this exam then you get selected for the situation test which is a studio based test where you get the materials and 3hrs and you have to then make something with the give material and the provide topics. Then you get a rank Accor to which you sit for the counselling and get the admission in one of the 19 campus in india...Read More
