- Aap professors are very good and take know about the subject in detail and the love their subjects and teach us how to love the subject
- Jadavpur university has a strong track record of campus placements, with many students securing promising job opportunities in leading companies across various industries.
- The eligibility of the course for electronics and telecommunication engineering is you have to get a good marks and rank in wbjee exam, our department is second best after cse is the best department in our college

- Quality of faculty is not very good as the salaries are low. the flawed fees structure causes the university to be dependent on government funds and lack autonomy.
- The thing which i disliked is the level of difficulty in our syllabus..it's a bit tough.
- The infrastructure of the class and labs are not good due to lack of funds and skilled personnel at all levels.

- We've a large number of faculties who have specialisation in almost all disciplines of physics, hence the opportunities for research is sufficient
- The campus life and social environment is liberal enough
- The fees for all courses offered in JU is extremely affordable

- The infrastructure is not good at all, classroom and toilets are not well maintained
- Punctuality and professionalism is severely lacking among officials of the university administration.
- Quite often the academic calendar is altered in short notice.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum for BSc physics is more focused on research than industrial aspect.
The frequency of exams are irregular, a number of times the semesters have been held within three months of classes, consequently in a rush to finish the syllabus. The difficulty levels are relatively harder than other universities in West Bengal.

- The campus of our university is one of the best, I must say. We have a much big campus at the centre of Kolkata city.The area of main campus & Salt Lake Campus are almost 60 acres & 26 acres respectively. We have a much green campus.
- There is always some activities in our campus. So campus life is much good.
- The faculties are well qualified and their teaching methods are really good. Most of the faculties are very helpful. Students can take help from them and the professors are aleays there to help them.
Dislikes
- There is some deficiency in some of the laboratories' infrastructure in Physics Department. But compared to many other Indian institutions, the laboratories are much good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because it gives me the scopes and exposures that I need to fulfill many aspects of my aim. The course-curriculum here is so much research oriented so if anyone is aiming to do research in future, the course-curriculum will really help him/her a lot. Here, the gap between two semester exams is generally 4 months on average and the difficulty level of the exams is much higher than many other Indian institutions, I can say.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Course is well balanced except for the fact that many unnecessary holidays are placed which disturbs the overall performance of time boundaries, time alloted for completeing syllabus etc. Also, more internal examinations would be of big help for improving overall performance in the subject.

- Lush green campus, Huge libraries and a beautiful lake
- Each and every person you meet in this campus has a different personality altogether. It's is like a heaven where genius scientists and wonderful artists dwell together
- Be it the cultural fests Sanskriti or the Tech fest at JU, fun has always been a main course for us
Dislikes
- The internal politics and Ideological wars has affects the universities reputation in the past few years
- Some unacceptable activities has sprouted in the campus which affects the academic atmosphere of the institute
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course and Curriculum is based on NEP 2020 which is quite hectic but the faculty is really cool. There is no teacher in this institute who has less than 20 years of teaching experience along with multiple research papers produced throughout the years

- Loved the campus life here at Jadavpur University
- The academic opportunity we get here if we wanted to study abroad is unmatchable
- The faculty is very friendly and seniors are very helpful

- Due to lack of funds from Central and State Govt, the labs aren't well maintained
- The buildings are worn out but the university tries it's best to maintain despite lack of funds
- The lab apparatus is limited and needs upgradation

Placement Experience:
For science banking corporates and edtechs are the main companies who hire. Other than that Amazon, Google, Dell, hp, Mera, TCS, Wipro, SBI, ONGC, etc. are the biggest companies that hire engineering students. One of the students managed to get a package of 1.8 crores in the UK. We also prefer studying for exams like NET, JAM, GATE, SSC CGL, UPSC, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty is very good. The faculty members and course curriculum are very good and it is known not only in west Bengal but also in India. There are almost 40 teaching members. They are all well qualified. There are internal exams as well as semester exams. If one attends the classes, it is easy to pass the exam.

Placement Experience:
The placement cell works hard so that every student gets placed in a good company. Every year almost 90% of the students get placed but you need to complete your course to get placed in the college premises. Various companies like TCS, Microsoft, L&T etc visit the college and recruit the best ones. The average package is around 10 Lakhs which is very decent. The highest packed till now offered has been of 35 Lakhs. Since I am pursuing honours, I want to continue my studies before getting into jobs.

Almost every student from the engineering department gets placed. The science department also has a healthy record as far as I know.
There are various companies like Microsoft, Google, TCS, L&T which visits the college campus and recruits the best. Almost every student has a great review on the placement cell.
After degree, I am going for higher studies.

We are in basic science and we don't have the campusing system as engineering. But the very few numbers of students go for job after completing their graduation. In our faculty, we don't have a good placement chance. But in engineering, we heard a very good placement system.

No, it was completely merit based. It totally depends on the student's performance on class 12. The competition is too high because every student wants to get admitted here.
