After the completion of BSc, there is no solid placement option for the students since most opt for going for higher studies. However, in case you need a placement, the placement wing can help you with it. The Commerce Departments have great placement and certain companies like Delloite etc come for recruitment

The placement cell works hard so that every student gets placed in a good company. Every year almost 90% of the students get placed but you need to complete your course to get placed in the college premises. Various companies like TCS, Microsoft, L&T etc visit the college and recruit the best ones. The average package is around 10 Lakhs which is very decent. The highest packed till now offered has been of 35 Lakhs. Since I am pursuing honours, I want to continue my studies before getting into jobs.

Almost every student from the engineering department gets placed. The science department also has a healthy record as far as I know. There are various companies like Microsoft, Google, TCS, L&T which visits the college campus and recruits the best. Almost every student has a great review on the placement cell. After degree, I am going for higher studies.

We are in basic science and we don't have the campusing system as engineering. But the very few numbers of students go for job after completing their graduation. In our faculty, we don't have a good placement chance. But in engineering, we heard a very good placement system.

Pros-Good curriculum,can increase more on the scientific aspects and in depth study material. Cons-Admission of non-science background people, which lets in making them understand scientific things very difficult during class by teachers. Admission process- Form fill up and submission, the called for exam and interview. Upon doing well in them,you get enlisted. Reason of selecting this college-They are affiliated under Jadavpur University, and good scoring system, unlike colleges affiliated under Calcutta University.

No, it was completely merit based. It totally depends on the student's performance on class 12. The competition is too high because every student wants to get admitted here.

Satisfactory infrastructure. But needs maintenance for sure. Living space is clean for sure and canteen foods are too hygienic but in rainy seasons water logging really creates an issue for everyone. Libraries have ample books but in labs some computers do not work properly. Toilets are clean but sanitary equipments are sometimes missing. Wifi is there but its speed is a bit slow_??? Hostels are also well built. Smart boards are available in exam hall where certain classes are held.

Campus are so beautiful, senior juniors relationship and here is a small fees and the they provide a world class faculty, lab facility is also good, teachers are very friendly. The placement is also good.

I chose this University because firstly of its reputation, then because of the great and experienced faculty members and facilities, then also because of the good transport facilities available in that place.
