There are sufficient accommodation facilities available for registered students. Approximately 2600 students are residing in nineteen hostels, including three separate hostels for girls and one for International students.

What are the career prospects after pursuing a B.Tech in Agriculture from NDUAT?

After completing B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering, students can work in reputed public or private sector companies like BHEL, GAIL, Infosys, etc. They can also pursue higher studies from a reputed National or International research institution in India as well as abroad.

What is the syllabus for the UPCATET examination conducted by the University?

The syllabus for the UPCATET examination is different for different courses. For the Undergraduate program, the UPCATET syllabus is prescribed by the UP Board of Intermediate Examination in the concerned subject. For the Postgraduate program, the syllabus of the undergraduate while doctoral program follows the master program of the concerned-subject[10].

Is there a cut-off score for the UPCATET state level examination conducted by University?

The candidates must keep in mind that the cut-off percentage of marks for the UPCATET is fixed at 20 percent for candidates belonging to General/OBC category. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, the cut-off is 10 percent.

A peaceful place for sincere students

Likes

The faculty is very supportive and guide you in every manner. It is upto you whether you want to go for further studies and research or you have to prepare for competitive exams, they will guide and support you in every aspect.
All the departments are interconnected and they will help you in every manner. they will provide you the facilities to conduct your research work efficiently. Facilities are up to the mark.
You have library facilities alongwith a central library there are departmental libraries too. For research work you can move to different research institutes and different agriculture universities as they have MoU with them.

Dislikes

Hostel timinigs are odd here. Also there are no separate rooms here. You have to live in a two seater room.
there is not as such things that no one will like here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

there are mid terms conducted after 2 months of the semester registration, then final exams are conducted 2-2.5 months later after the mid-terms. So the course work is not very hectic here. You cand easily manage and balance you course and research work simultaneoulsy.

Likes

Some departments of the college is very well maintained and hostel facility is nice. Girls to boys ratio 1:4
Some teachers teach really well and things are easy to understand and projector teaching is also there
Poultry farm , dairy farm , sheep goat farm and well established clinic is there.

Dislikes

College Library can be better and have variety of books.
College canteen is not upto the mark, can be better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very nicely established and each subject is taught in the college. The clinical training during the curriculum is also there where you can learn a lot of things. 3 term exams , in which marks of two are taken , difficulty level is medium on an average scale .

Teaching classes and teacher used a digital board and good our university good college like college of agriculture kumarganj, college of agriculture azamgarh etc
That's azamgarh campus best faculty and best class room
Azamgarh campus and kumarganj campus class room fitted with air condion facility

Dislikes

Some time doesn't conduct practical work
Attendence must be 85 % is not good for student
Less than 85 % attendence will not aapear in the final semester exam

Placement Experience:

Last semester student like 4th year student eligible for placement Agri crop science limited, zeneva crops science, amul milk private limited, Average package 3 to 4 lakh 20-30 % student getting placement because most of the student go to the higher study Higher study

things i liked about my college was few like classroom department etc.
classroom has capacity of 50-60students not more than that can sit in one classroom which is good so that teachers can check up on each and every student
department of NDUAT is quite clean and well maintained and nice.

Dislikes

Things i disliked about my college is almost everything just like other batchmates my department had a strength of 13 students including me which department has 13 students strengths.
This worst part of the university has its hostel its the worst place for someone to survival the food is worst rooms are worst cuboards are worst everything is just worst there.
The food of the hostel is the worst and the shops from the hostel is far like you have to walk for 1-2km just to reach the nearest shop these all are things which i didn’t like about my college.

the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is quite good The curriculum that influenced me to decision to choose the score was that the increase of scope of biotechnology in india.

Good and bad things of my university

Likes

I like their big campus with big sports ground with all sports equipment
I build gym inside college campus which help to maintain good and health body
As this university placed in rural area having less noise

Dislikes

I don’t like the environment factor the temperature goes to high during summer days
I don’t like the management system of the university
I don’t like the students because of their harsh behaviour

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester students are eligible for the placements the companies visit pesticide companies the average package of 5000 lakh and the maximum package of 6000 lakh is offered by the companies about 60 percent of student get placement my future plan is to pg from agronomy

The pros and cons of my university

Likes

The campus is very big and beautiful... throughout it is a agricultural University so the ornamental plants are very beautiful and big farms are also available
It is situated in a rural area by which there is peace in the campus .
The university provide too many scientists and professor by which we can acquire too much knowledge.

Dislikes

The management system of this university is not that much good... because of some corruption issues.
The people of this area don't treat the other state people as good as possible mainly the students which are from Uttar Pradesh .
There is no student communities are there...like dancing,drama etc

Placement Experience:

When you are in the fourth year then you are eligible for the placements. although I don't think placements facilities are that much effective so I don't depend on placements. but many agricultural pesticides companies visit the campus and require the eligible candidates. my plans after my bsc. Ag degree is to do a business in agriculture field of pesticides and many more things..after my UG degree i am eligible to get pesticides licence...by which I can run my business

Likes

Sports facilities such as University has huge stadium and also available of various playing equipment for different type of sports
University has huge farmland for research trial and for other experiment purpose

Convince is below average to reach the campus
Campus area is huge (approx 1777 ha ) so ,low maintenance
There is need of little change in library and other departments services

Agronomy has wide scope in the agriculture field in the government sector as well as private also, we have a big field for our agronomical experiment, and for research trials, we have a good amount of research students in our campus (20-25 approx) we have good faculty of well-qualified professors and lecturers in our campus, exam were conducted time to time according to the semester plans.

Placement Experience:

In this semester about 120 students is found campus placement. IRRI, IFFCO and many private and government companies visit in my university. Highest package was given 85 lacs per year. And average 10-15 lacs per year. About 80% students found placement. My plan is after degree make my own agriculture business.
