My degree is over-all 2 years which contains theory and practical. There is semester system. In each semister we have different subject. In every subject we have to pass in two mid - term exams and then in final exam's. Final exam of 70 marks and 30 marks practical. Course is well structured and they follow the 6th dean committee syallabus that is approved by ICAR. In masters there is last semester of research work that contains no theory exams. Every student allot a supervisor which help him/her during research. And at the end of degree we need to submit our synopsis and thesis. That is evaluated by external examiner and marks are given on the basis of it. Exams are moderate to high level. There is no objective papers ..only subjective papers are taken. 3 hours for one paper. It is enough time to complete the exam

Fees and Financial Aid

They took fees according to semester. Generally fees for my course is 65k. But I took admission through CUET entrance exam so they gave scholarship and now I have to pay only 30 k per semester , it includes all examination form fees and other charges. So fee structure varied according to your other academic background. There is no management quota. But there are some NRI students so they may have NRI quota and there different fee structure. While we take admission, we have to get registration of 4k and then fees submission process starts. There is separate charges of 6k for uniform and other necessary things. This charges included only acedamic but hostel fees is separate from it that is 60k per annum.

In my batch there are total of 32 students in which 5 students are from All India seat 1 is from in-service seat. And my department has more than 15 teaching staff which are also responsible for teaching of PhD and UG students but the are later allotted as the course guide to a group of 4-5 students. And the relationship of faculty to student is good enough that we can directly communicate with them in the college time of the day Faculties i like from my college are Dr. Nitish Tiwari because the teaching technique of them is good and understandable. And Dr. Brij Bihari Pandey from plant physiology also has a lot of knowledge about his subject. He is a good teacher and teaches the students very interestingly I don't have any faculties which I didn't like.. everyone does their work really good in my department of agronomy. There are total of 9 subjects in this semester of agronomy as I'm in 1st semester. There are total of 9 subjects of which 4 are major subjects, 2 are minor subject, 1 is major subject and 2 are non credit subjects. There can be some difficulties in passing these subjects in like 2-3 subjects because the passing percentage is above 60% for each subject.. it means we need to score above 60 marks in each theory exam. The course curriculum is relevant but i feels that some of the syllabus is not of any importance and i feels like that are not going to be used in upcoming times and we need to change it and update it

Course Curriculum Overview

Agriculture courses are lagging in our country. Firstly I wanted to be a Doctor but after not clearing my NEET exam I started searching which course would be good for me and suddenly I found BSc Agriculture. It was new to me and my parents too. After joining agriculture it feels like why I joined it but after realizing the importance of this course, I will must say come and join agriculture as your higher education.

Faculty

Faculties more supportive than real family and friends. They never show there real educational power infact they saw and understand that how a student can achieve and improve. Motivate in every path. Interaction with teachers is very easy if you are good them. My One and only inspiration is Dr. Anshuman Jena Sir (Associate Professor, Agricultural Extension and Communication)

The faculty to student ratio is 1:60. All the faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated. Classes are always monitered by camera hence they are always punctual with time. A pattern is followed for teaching, 3 units for the first 3 months and then other 3 units for the next 3 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

The full course fee is 120000 rupees per semester but the university provides 20%, 30% and 40% scolarship based on LPUNEST score hence the lowest one can pay per semester by scoring 40% scholarship is 72000. There is lack of employment in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have a better understanding of the topics and it interested me. The faculty: student ratio for MSc is 5:1. Qualification of the faculty is either professor or associate professor. The teaching methods they use are either classroom-oriented or field oriented. There is better exposure through practical learning. The term exams would be once in 6 months. In between, there will be mid-term exams and practicals. It is obvious that the questions would be depending on the classroom teaching and fieldwork.

Campus Life

The annual fest would be in the month of June. For every occasion, there would be a fest. There is a physical library and a digital library available. Access to different websites is available free of cost. International and national journals of recent experiments are available. Every year inter-college sports will be conducted and the winners are rewarded. The infrastructure and facilities in the classroom are great.
