Internship and placement opportunities vary significantly across departments, with Agribusiness Management (ABM) and Veterinary students having better prospects compared to agriculture students, who face fewer opportunities. Despite this, ongoing agriculture projects on campus offer students a chance to gain additional skills and experience. Two significant scholarships are available: the UP Government Scholarship, which ranges from 36,000 to 50,000 INR based on the category, and the Mandi Parishad Scholarship, which offers 36,000 INR.
These scholarships, primarily funded by the state government, cover about 20% of the fees. The course fee is approximately 30,000 INR per semester, amounting to about 60,000 INR annually. Including hostel and mess fees, the total cost ranges from 1.5 to 2 lakh INR. Additional scholarships such as the University Finance Scholarship and the I.C.A.R Fellowship can also be pursued. However, agriculture students face a scarcity of internships and consistent campus placement opportunities.
