SOA FAS and Life

Agriculture courses are lagging in our country. Firstly I wanted to be a Doctor but after not clearing my NEET exam I started searching which course would be good for me and suddenly I found BSc Agriculture. It was new to me and my parents too. After joining agriculture it feels like why I joined it but after realizing the importance of this course, I will must say come and join agriculture as your higher education.

In 7th semester there is Unit Attachment program where you have to choose or according to your Rank you will offered internships. Like under block office, Icar, Ciwa, etc. stipend amount is 10,000 - 25,000

From 7th Semester students are eligible for placement. Companies like Syngenta, Federal Bank, NGOs, FPOs, and many private companies. Highest average package is 3,00,000/year. 120/260 student once get place on Syngenta. My plan is to become a BLock agricultural officer.

BSc (Hons) Agriculture - 4 Years Course Course Fees - 1,80,000/yearly MSc in Agronomy, Horticulture, Entomology, Pathology, Seed Science, Breeding etc - 2 Years Course Hostel Fees - 50,000 Mess Fees - 48,000 New placement department is made for us which will help us to get opportunities in any type of companies

Functions or Events - SOA AGRI CONFLUENCE (March), SOA MUN (September), Arnna (April), Startup Conclave (January), Soa Cup (February), Intra Sports (December) There are more than 250 books and journals are available. This year our Campus get the Soa Cup award. Our many students are well participated in NSS programs.

There different types of Room 2beded, 3 and 4 beded. Ac and Non Ac also available. Meal quality is not too good as compared to home food. After taking the admission if you want availed for hostel than simple documentation process is there and DD of 55,000 is required. For rent in nearby there is a Sum Square where many Rent room and PGs are available

For BSc minimum cutoff is 80% For Msc it depends on the Branch or subject you choose. No application fees are required. There will be 3 entrance tests i.e. SAAT you have to qualify it to get a seat. No such PI is taken.

Faculties more supportive than real family and friends. They never show there real educational power infact they saw and understand that how a student can achieve and improve. Motivate in every path.
