Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyala, Lucknow is the only college in Lucknow and Bareilly Commissionaires that has become not only the epitome of agricultural education but also the core center for the development of farmers. The college is equipped with all facilities like agricultural research farm, dairy facilities, chemistry laboratory, computer center, internet facilities, central library, separate hostels for boys and girls, canteen etc. The result of this college is cent percent and it has acquired the distinction of being agriculture expertise by CSJM University. The students have made the college proud of them by giving excellent performance in academics as well as in research field. Their milestone achievements are reflected in the overall results in the State University examinations. The College has vast cultivated agricultural research farm with all the modern facilities like tractor, harrow, cultivator and trolley etc. The farm is adjacent to the road leading to the Air Force station and the dairy consists of about 25 mulch animals which daily produces huge amount of milk.

We had given the exam through UP ticket to do B.Sc. Agriculture. We were not getting B.Sc. Agriculture but we had to do B.Sc. Agriculture only. We were getting B.Sc. Horticulture in Banda This is a famous college, children come here from far away places to study and the education is good here, lab facility is also available, there are formulas too, the form is also very big, all the facilities are available here, study in a similar manner

Likes

Cleaness , greenery and spacious and Big library with lots of books
Classroom was big and clean and sitting arrangement was very much good

Dislikes

Staff was also corrupt and disrespectful
College staff behaviour was not good they were partial towards students

I choose this because of many reasons like college was easy to reach because of transportation that is the first thing u check before selecting college, then u check the fee structure which is also very necessary to select the college according to your education budget allotted by the family then u check the facilities and environment of the college and faculty behaviour. Al of the above aspect fullfill by the college I have selected.

i liked differents things like college games periods and practical periods etc
i loved to attend dairy science periods because i love to see and enjoy time with animals

At the time of my admission the covid time was going on. The entrance exam should not be taken place by the college so my admission would be confirmed by the merit based pattern. After got confirmed seat in college i submitted my xerox of my documents i got the admisssion in the college.

Admission:

Eligibility for a Master in agriculture and allied sciences is first division grade in Bachelor in agriculture or sister fields of agriculture. Application forms and dates can be found on the college's website. Application dates start from the end of June and are available till the first fortnight of July. The entrance exam is conducted between the last week of July and the first week of August. College fees increase yearly by 10 percent. Standard reservations are available for different classes of society.

Chandrabhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya offers B.Sc. in Agriculture and M.Sc. degree in four specializations, namely Horticulture, Extension, Agronomy, and Soil Science.

Candidates will have to apply offline for admission.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in the Science stream to apply for the B.Sc. program.
Candidate must pass a Bachelor’s degree in Science for M.Sc. courses.
Admission to both courses will be through an entrance test conducted by the college.
Candidates who want to apply for admission must first appear in the entrance exam, followed by filling out the application form.
