UP Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan ( DUVASU) was founded by the UP government on 25th of October in the year 2001. It is one of the premier Veterinary Colleges of the country as it has contributed considerably towards research by meeting both national and international benchmark and has also produced a significant number of graduates, postgraduates, and research scholars.

- This college have best faculties for biotechnology and industrial microbiology subject. Faculties are supportive in nature and friendly too. They provide the best possible solutions for the problems of the students in a friendly manner.
- This college have the best laboratory exposure compared to other colleges at graduation level. Laboratory exposure is the significant requirement in biotechnology field and this college offers the best laboratories.

- I personally didn't like the hostel (mess) food.
Admission:
12th pass students with 55% aggregate percentage are eligible to apply for the admission. Student must have Physics, chemistry and biology as main subject are eligible to apply. Merit list is prepared on the basis of the percentage obtained in 12th class. There are 45 seats available for the admission.
Admission:
Admission is through counselling which is based on the Pre-Veterinary test. There are OBC, SC/ST quotas are available for admission. Criteria for this program is 10+2 with Biology main subject. University conducts a test before every batch. There is counselling after the test. Counselling date and further information will provide through the university.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Bachelor of veterinary science is an undergraduate degree that comes under medical discipline. The course duration is 5 years and 6 months. Course deals with the study of medical diagnosis and treatment of diseases of all animals. For admission to UG course candidates must have passed 10+2 with biology, chemistry, physics. with minium marks 50%.Minimum age at the time of admission is 17 years. 15% of the total seats are filled by Veterinary Council of India on the basis of Neet exam for all over quota seats. For 85% seats selection of the students shall be only on the basis of merit in PVT exam conducted by DUVASU, Mathura. For this candidate must have domicile of uttar pradesh.
Admission:
Positive- The college is old and so prestigious, teachers, students, seniors and all staff are highly cooperative. A lot to learn to gain knowledge. Negative- Class hours are really hectic. Poor infrastructure of college campus.
Course Curriculum Overview:
First and second year seems little fine and ok but third and fourth year quite hectic with almost 9 hours of college including break time. Holidays are given on public holiday and some days of honouring the people.
Admission:
The college is excellent in terms of infrastructure and facilities but the management is somewhat lazy on the administrative part, rest all the aspects of the college makes it an excellent place to study.
