College of Agriculture (CoA) at Vellayani ,Thiruvananthapuram is regarded as one of the top level institutions in India for agricultural research and education. The college along with the two other campuses under the faculty of Agriculture has been best in romoting and providing quality education and skill training for agricultural graduates and farmers in Kerala. The instructional farm at vellayani also helps to organize work experience programs for the students at graduate level and provides space for PG and PhD students for practicals and trials. Admission to Kerala Agricultural University, College of Agriculture Vellayani on a merit seat is possible through entrance exams like KEAM or ICAR. Selection depends on rank, category, and cutoffs. Admission for UG courses are based on the Common Entrance Examination held by the Commisionarate of Entrance Examinations.
