IIT Kanpur is famous for its core branches. The courses were recently modified and updated but some of the courses still are not up to date and the same taught as years ago, talking about relevancy the courses are relevant enough. The grading is good in Kanpur as compared to the other IITs. If other IITs have an average spi of 7.5, IIT Kanpur has an average of around 6. The grading and course difficulty can be decreased.

I choose it because of my interest. Very nice structure of the course made me to take this course. It has various practical life examples and field work. Exams are held every 3 weeks with much of the topic covered.

The course is very good and very informative the professors are very good in terms of grading and teaching. The courses could include more laboratory time and experiments which helps to use the theoretical knowledge to do real experiments.

The course of the curriculum here is too amazing all the faculties are too experienced and too good but when we talk grading IIT KANPUR gives the worst grading upon all other engineering colleges the frequency of timing of exams here we have midterm examinations for 2 hours and endterm examination for 3 hours and also we have in between small quizzes which also includes in final grades.

The course curriculum of our college is very designed. These courses are very useful if we are opting for higher studies or going for research. The first two semester courses are common for each branch of our college.

The course curriculum is very flexible and will be in comfortable way to understand for the students. There are many reasons to join in this college. This collage have many facilities and also provide many opportunities. Mainly our college is not about acedemics, it is also helps to find out what are we capable of, and we can also learn more and more new things in our college. From the first year onwards we will be able to do the projects, which are very helpful for college placements process. Our college is constructed with well infrastructure and green environmental with have more trees and beautiful flowers and we breathe fresh air. Our campus having 1100 acres of landscape with every need for the students. There are more difficulties in acedemics and the grading system is also very strict.

As comparatively with other IIT's course curriculum kanpur has difficult academics again it depends on professor grading system. The way curriculum prepares you will be definetly applicable in real-world problems . the teaching methods were too good and very helpful. The exams will be definetly difficulty.the grading system will be relative with respect to other top students . The grading will be like A++,A,B++,B,B++,C,C++,D++,D than you will be Eand F grades. The course difficulty level will be decided by proffesors in that particular courses as their are some proffesor who really genuine and practical ,also they are some other professor are too strict which makes students in stress. The grading on average marks will be around B and C tough grading will be given at D++ this makes decrease in cgpa of overall semester.Apart from that we can say that proffesors were too friendly while asking doubts they clarify without any hesitation and they are too kind with students.

Most specific aspect that influence the decision for course is the proffessor grading nature. But sometime it will also depend on your interest. Course structure is such that you will face some courses related to real life such as ethics, sustainability etc. I think courses must be oriented to the applications. As more theoretical knwledge is not enough to become a good engineer. Exams and Quizzes come very frequently. No. of quizzes depends on proffesor of a particular course. As for difficulty , if you read daily then you may feel these easy.

I choose this course because I like this course and I am interested in machines and my rank was a bit low. All the professors are Ph.Ds and well knowledgeable. And the exams had ample time and held twice in a semester.

I am a student of B.Tech Aerospace at IIT Madras. IIT Madras is a top engineering institution in India, and a degree from here can easily land you an offer to complete your higher education in Ivy League colleges (if you are among the top 10% in your batch). You may even land a job offer at prestigious institutions like ISRO once you graduate.
Here is a comparison among IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras and IIT BHU:

It is evident from the following data that in terms of placements, the Mechanical and Electronics branches of IIT BHU are better. But if you have the slightest interest in Aerospace Engineering, IIT Madras will open plenty of opportunities for you in this sector.
If research/higher studies interest you, IIT Madras is the best option due to its superior reputation. You’ll get to work at some of the best organizations like HUL, ISRO, and DRDO. Moreover, you’ll be exposed to world-class infrastructure, and some of the best professors.
So if you have an interest in Aerospace Engineering, I would suggest you opt for IIT Madras over all the other options.
