DOMS IIT Kanpur offers admission to its various courses based on a national-level entrance exam, followed by a Group Discussion & Personal Interview. IIT Kanpur MBA Admission to its various courses are as follows-
- Admission to MBA courses is based on the composite scores of CAT percentile, Academic Score, GD, PI, Work Experience with weightage decided by the institute. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA Programme should satisfy the following criteria:
- A candidate must have any of the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology OR
- A Bachelor's degree with Mathematics in Intermediate Level.
- Minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying degree:
- General/EWS/OBC: Minimum of 60% marks (or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale)
- SC/ST/PWD: Minimum of 50% marks (or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10-point scale)
- For admission to the PGPEx, the candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 60% and have at least 4 1⁄2 years of experience.
- Admission to Ph.D. courses at the institute is based on scores in GATE / UGC-NET / CSIR-NET scores, followed by a Personal Interview.
