MBA

The MBA program's admissions procedure involves several steps, according to the DoMS IIT Kanpur admission requirements. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with a Minimum of 65% Marks are eligible to apply for the MBA program. M.Tech

M.Tech program of DoMS IIT Kanpur is done on the basis of GATE scores. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Masters Degree in Science with a Minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for the program. Here are some of the details of the M.Tech program.

• Admission to M.Tech is based on a Valid GATE score.
• Candidates are shortlisted based on their GATE scores & Qualifying Degree Marks.
• Shortlisted Candidates are then called for a Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
• Separate Merit List for each Category (General and SC/ST) is prepared based on the Interview and GATE marks.

PhD

The following phases are used for admission to the PhD programme:

Stage 1: If you meet the requirements for the PhD programme, you may submit an application.

Stage 2: On the basis of Work Experience, Academic Performance, and the Quantity of Applicants in each category, Candidates will be shortlisted for the Written Test in the second round. The list of candidates who have been shortlisted will be created by the PhD programme admissions committee.

Stage 3: The committee will administer a written test to the shortlisted candidates in order to compile a merit list. Following the written aptitude exam, a distinct list for each category will be created, and this list will serve as the basis for the personal interview phase. This means that only applicants who pass the written aptitude exam will be invited for an interview.
