If you are studying MBA, you are eligible for the placement process once you reach the second year. Companies come to visit starting from the month of August. There is a record of 100% placements in the college course and companies like Morgan Stanley, Juspay, Digit, Wells Fargo, ICICI bank, Deloitte, Accenture strategy, etc are a few of the many reputed ones. Every student can expect a decent placement after completing the course.

The students are eligible for final placements from the third semester, and summer placements, from the first semester. Some of the companies who visited include Tiger Analytics, Accenture Strategy, Axtria, Barclays, Deloitte, Infosys, and ZS. On average, almost 30+ companies visit every year. The highest package for the 2020-22 batch stood at 22 LPA and the average package was 16.61 LPA. MBA IIT Kanpur had 100% placements last year. My plan after getting my degree is to work in the domain I love the most and that is marketing, I want to be a part of famous marketing campaigns, create great ones that people remember, and work for brands that are known for amazing marketing campaigns like Nike and Amul.

Placements start from 3rd semester of the program. Companies visited depend on the batch size and requirements of the batch. Placement details can be found in the report uploaded on the IME website. Usually, the plan of all students is to get placed have some corporate experience, understand the domain, and industry in depth and then look for better opportunities or go for a startup if they have a great idea.

There is 100 per cent placement for both summers and finals. For summer it's the first 2 semesters and for finals, it's 3rd and 4th semester. Finals average is 16.62 lpa and the median is 16lpa. The roles offered are mainly analytics along with finance and marketing roles.

Summer Placements start from the 1st Sem onwards. Every year we have been able to achieve 100% placements for both summers and finals. As per the latest stats, avg summer stipend is ~85k and avg package is ~16.6 LPA.

The students are eligible to sit for SIP in the first semester and all the students get placed during SIP. For final placements, the students become eligible in the second year of MBA in the third semester and the avg placement is 16.5 LPA of the recent batch and the college has 100% placement.

From 3rd semester students can sit for final placements. More than 50 companies come to recruit from MBA IIT Kanpur. Analytics is the domain that has the most recruiters. The highest package for 2022 was 22 LPA and an average of 16.6 LPA. Diverse profiles are offered. There is 100% placement. I plan to do a job in a good company after graduating.

Summer Internship Placements start in the 1st Semester itself and Final Placements start in the 3rd Semester. 100% of the Batch gets good offers. The Average CTC offered was 16.61LPA which is quite impressive
