Remarks
Admission process starts after CAT results are declared. Based on the applications received, the cutoff is decided. Application fees is INR 1600 and the last date to apply is by the end of January. Further processes start from February and the results get declared in the month of May.
Course Curriculum Overview
For folks interested in Data Analytics, this is the best place to do your MBA from. A healthy faculty:student ratio of ~1:3 is maintained. Professors are highly qualified and the program is entirely student driven. We follow a semester based curriculum and there are mid sem exams as well.
Internships Opportunities
A number of companies recruited for Summer internship like Morgan Stanley, ICICI Bank, Go Digit, Mphasis, SS Supply Chain Solutions, MPower Financing etc offering roles from all domains of Management.
Placement Experience
Summer Placements start from the 1st Sem onwards. Every year we have been able to achieve 100% placements for both summers and finals. As per the latest stats, avg summer stipend is ~85k and avg package is ~16.6 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here is considerably lower than other colleges with similar stature. Even with a fee hike, MBA IIT Kanpur is going to give the best possible ROI compared to any other college. The avg Summer Internship stipend and Final placement stats are increasing year-on-year.
Campus Life
Annual Management Fest - Prabandhan, conducted in September-October. Other Pan-IITK fests are Techkriti, Antaragni and Udghosh, which are conducted in the months of March and April. Everything is student driven and the amenities are the best you can get anywhere.
Hostel Facilities
You will be given a single accomodation room with all facilities needed in a basic sense. Needless to say, the meal quality is one of the best in the country. Day-scholars can very well choose to stay wherever they want. There's no cap on anything.
