Student Snaps:
Course Curriculum Overview:
Being a neet aspirant only i decided i want to go for BDS and not MBBS for BDS is a more specialized course focusing only on the oral cavity and care. There are in total 9 branches under BDS and each branch in itself has huge scope in outer world. We start dealing with real patients from third year only so we have real experience of everything and by the time internship completes, we have enough knowledge to open a clinic of our own. And best part, BHU provides 50% internal qouta for its students so we've a better chance of getting a good pg seat from such a prestigious institution.
World class faculties, good infrastructure, friendly environment
Dislikes
hostel rooms are not upto my expectations
Course Curriculum Overview:
Medicine was my interest from the beginning, so to persue a career in medicine, I chose dentistry.
Also the curriculum is very practical which provides hands on experience to add to your skills in a better and convenient way
Difficulty of exam is above average and it's doable if done properly
A very learned and experienced faculty panel of doctors and professors is there to teach the students.
Top class infrastructure of the college and hospital with a very good flow of patients is present.
The variety and the immense flow of the patients enables us to master the clinical expertise.
Dislikes
Minimum co curricular activities are available.
Very tight schedule of study and practise for students. Very Hectic.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Highly specific and focused curriculum designed to help the students learn the best of dentistry learnings. Takes care of all the diverse clinical scenarios to be taught to the students so that they can succeed as a good dental surgeon.
Campus is very beautiful and you can appreciate its beauty and calmness by appreciating that just by walking in campus for sometime you can elevate your mood if you were not feeling good.
Faculties are highly qualified and expert.
Dislikes
There are frequent strikes going on almost every time somewhere in campus.
Food quality can be improved. Some smalls roads should be maintained.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is very good and there are a lot of opportunities in future if we learn wisely and improve our hand skills.
I choose this course and college because this is a central university and it offers 50% internal reservation for its students for Post Graduation seats.
The Faculty: student ratio is also very satisfactory.
All the faculty members are highly qualified and are prestigious Doctors in different fields.
There is a pattern of yearly final professional exams but there in between we have sessional exams also twice a year. And to pass the exams you have to study well enough and the most important thing here is to learn the hand skills. You can get a huge patient exposure here and can expertise yourself as well your skills.
Institute of medical sciences has got all India ranking 3rd among all medical colleges of India, beautiful campus and best faculties are there.anywhere else for your graduation.the unbreakable bond with every corner of ims along with the people here adds a different taste to ur life.the cumbersome bds studies gets a bit easy by the grace of excellent professors.
Professor is very strict. 75-80 percentage of attendence is complusory to seat in exam. Infrastructure is so so type as compare to all other college. It need to be renewed.Hostel and college is very far about 2 km from each other.
Positive- Patient exposure is far better than any other college , no complaints for that. You get to learn so much only in the clinics. The teachers are always supportive no matter if you are a fresher or an intern.
Negative- Not above those that can be expceted in a government procedure
