In the term of five years, there are 10 semesters in the course. Students focus on theoretical knowledge and practical competence during the first four years. Ques. What is the future scope after completing the BHU BVSc course?
Ans. After having completed the course, it is up to a student to choose which sector she/he wants to enter. Whereas jobs are available in Veterinary hospitals, Animal welfare centres, Zoological Gardens, Animal Husbandry farms, Dairy and poultry farms and natural reserves, a student can also practice on her/his own. However, it is advised to solely operate a clinic only after having experience working under someone or at some organisation.

Ans. BHU has an excellent faculty for this course and students are motivated to indulge in practical work to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Ques. Is there any other procedure through which I can enrol in BHU BVSc?
Ans. No, earlier, a test used to be conducted but for some years now, the selection is being done only based on NEET score.
Ques. What is the age limit for applying to the BHU BVSc course?
Ans. The age of candidates must not be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years on July 1, 2024.
Ques. If I get around 400 marks in my NEET 2024, will I be able to bag a seat for the BHU BVSc course?
Ans. As mentioned above, the cutoff differs every year and from category to category, nothing can be said about it as of now. However, you must get a score above 500 to be secure.
