SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Big companies like Microsoft, Infosys, and Accenture visit the campus. The average package is generally around 8 to 9 lacs and the highest package till now is 53 lacs. There is a 100 percent placement policy.

From 5 th semester companies for internships start to come to college but very few companies and even among those few companies very few get hired for internships. Placements used to be the best part about this college but this year is not going great.

From 7th semester onwards the student became eligible for campus placement. Every year more than 500 companies visit in college .the highest package as of now from btech course is 35 lakhs. Almost 95 percent of student got placement from college only .

I choosed this course for its high demand frankly I don't have special knowledge on CSE AIML. In SRM there are many students. Such a mess everywhere. Faculty are good in number. Qualifications of teachers are pretty good Almost every one has PhD. Their teaching methods are nothing but just reading their respective ppt presentation. Regarding the term exams,in a semester first month is free. Later on we will have exams for every month. Exams were very easy to pass nothing to worry about it. Enough even if we read a day before the exam.

The placement in my college are pretty decent the average package stood at 9 lakh per annum with around 90 percent of students getting placed every year And every year around 1000 company visit my college for placement.

from 3rd year that is from sem 5, we can try for campus placements and many top mncs like Amazon and Microsoft visit for placements and highest package is given by amazon that is of more than 1cr and overall average package more than 11lpa, almost more than 90% students get placement.

Mostly 80 to 100 % of students can get placed in reputed companies from all over the world. name of the companies visited - Mahindra, Ford, TCS, CTS, Zoho etc average salary: 50000 per month master degree is the plan for 20-30% of students

The placement scenario for complete science engineering is very good here. despite recessions. atta get placed at a decent package. All 100% of students were placed in 2023. with an average package of above 10 lpa.

BE is the best degree in the college course and it has scope. In this college, the faculty members are friendly and encourage everyone, the faculty-student ratio is 1:15. The faculty members are doctorates. Six months (one semester) is conducted, and everyone can easily clear the exam.
