- Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
- Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
- You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways

- The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
- Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
- This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

- the diversity of the people here. In a class of 60 we have more than one person from almost every state in india. We also have students from bangladesh and some arab countries studying with us.
- the fests and events are organised and executed in such a grand way.
- The campus- so green and vast and a lot of things to explore. the hugeness of the campus also means that there are a lot more sports grounds to play in
Dislikes
- the heat — trichy is usually verryyy hot. The trees shade sometimes makes up for it, but when you’re in class that’s a diff experience
- the curfew for girls while boys dont have any curfew
Placement Experience:
The placements in our campus for B Tech students in definitely top 5 in this country. Salaries averagin at 20 lpa has been the standard for the past few years. The placements for architecture are a little glim, but I guess that's the case everywhere

- Freedom to take leave and to leave class whenever we don't like it
- The food it is quite good compared to other colleges
- The sports as the college has every type of sports u need to play
Dislikes
- The curfew of our hostel as we have reach inside hostel before 9 30
- The dogs as our campus shelters a lot of stray dogs
- The locking of gate other than specific time causes a lot of pain in the ass
Placement Experience:
The placement in our college is excellent theres a specific building for placement training and seniors here are very helpful to placement offers even though it's their free time in 4th year a lot of companies visit our campus to recruit us

- Labs and Library well equipped with all requirements
- High quality peer with lots of knowledge and hence good placement too
- Lots of Clubs and societies to grow and get hands on experience with real World challenges

- No AC anywhere accept Octagon for students to relax
- No Newspaper delivery to hostel one need to go to library
- Some teachers are not good at teaching. They might be very knowledgeable but not good teachers

- The people here are very friendly, they are easy going and undertaand your problems , the teachers are also teaching very good as they are doing research on the side while teaching as well so that explains their awesome teaching, canteen food is good
Dislikes
- The mess food is not upto satisfaction , i mean its decent and eatable but still the side dishes are very oily sometimes, so it is not upto my bar atleast and a lot of student share my opinion as well, the dependency on cycle to travel is also bad

Every course in nit Trichy shows good placement stats compared to private colleges
My course i.e instrumentation and control engg shows pretty good placement stats

- I loved that most of the events organised here are handeled by the students(mostly seniors)which in some way increases the active participation in the events by the juniors and their batchmates
- Campus Life Is Great.....Everyone here is interactive and wants to get involved in conversations Faculties are well experienced and make things easy to understand I myself haven't yet experienced the placement services but most of the seniors explain
- That the placement and internship programme is great and with great work and participation on can get placed in well known companies/businesses Infrastructure is good...Atleast For My Branch (Production)Most People say that the curicullum is chillax
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is good but some departments may require a renovation.....The Classes Here(Considering it as the "Best NIT In India")may not be upto the mark lacking basic facilities like AC and Stepup Benches
- As a cricket fan I expelcted that the college would provide the equipments for playing in the ground but actually they provide it only for the selected players that only for practice purpose
- Hostels just underwent a renovation but my hostel(Garnet A)is still under renovation phase....This is one of the only hostel that doesn't have a washing machine so we find it really difficult to wash our jeans and all stuff

- Campus Beauty: the campus is really beautiful with a size of about 800acre biggest after IIT Kharagpur. So much greenery well maintained campus. All sports facilities are available
- NIRF RANKING: NIT Trichy is holding it's 9th position in NIRF ranking after top 7 old IITs and IISC.
- Placement Statistics : Most attractive thing about college is it's placement and in case of NiT TRICHY it is worthy to come here 12 lpa avg package for even lower branch like production and mme, and for cs it is 30lpa
Dislikes
- Language barrier: Inside college Hindi English and other language speaking people are there so no problem at all but outside campus only Tamil is there hindi speaker can not even easily surviy without English
- Vegetarian Food: food is that tasty in mess and even in canteen also all mess are serving veg and non veg.... There is no pure veg mess
- Professor: All professor are really well educated. Mostly Phds but the problem is that they do not convey their knowledge properly

From 7 semester usually students are officially allowed to sit into internship and placement. All the major companies like FAANG and other like Goldman Sachs, Adobe, ICICIBANK etc come to the college. Highest package are in crores for international package, in India also 72 lac is highest 12 lpa is median, about 85 percent students get places other opt for government jobs and startups

- At many classrooms there are no ACs as well as their seats could have been better
Course Curriculum Overview:
Well my interest was in Computers specially in Software parts so I decided to choose Computer Science and Engineering. It's well designed for real world. They should try to be more practical rather than staying on that old school methods.

- In the college aspects it is very wonderful but it need to improve more
- The campus life is so good that we have been like a family here
- The faculty is good and very interactive with the student

- The hostel are renoweting now and it is not too good
- There are no proper facilities for the students of the first year
- The seniors are very radh with us for any reason

I closed this course because we can choose our life to go in two ways software and hard ware according to our cgpa in the semsters there are some improvements in teaching that it would be better to teach some slowly because some are lagging in the English the timing for the exam is Good

What is your review about NIT trichy electronics and communication branch?

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
