Dislikes
- No AC anywhere accept Octagon for students to relax
- No Newspaper delivery to hostel one need to go to library
- Some teachers are not good at teaching. They might be very knowledgeable but not good teachers
Course Curriculum Overview
This course is a rigorous with regards to mechanical engineering and is very nicely made with the viewpoint of students. But some areas where improvement is required are: More practical subjects, less periods in one day and evenly distributed credits
Placement Experience
Some Students get placements from 3rd year itself as PPO through various big companies like NVIDIA, QualCOMM, Exxon etc. placement starts in 4th year various companies visit the campus including Google Microsoft NTPC BARC HUL BHEL LNT CATERPILLAR INFOSYS TCS ORACLE Tata ITC Allen PW DRDO ISRO Highest Package (current) : 54 LPA Median Package: 13.5 LPA (overall)

The fees structure for general is as below: Tuition Fee: 62,500/ Sem Other Fees: 25,000 to 28,000 / year ( increases per year) One time Fee at time of Admission: 35,000 Hostel Fees Structure: First year Fees: 57,000/sem Second Sem onwards: 49,800 / sem Including Mess Charges Scholarships are Available eg. Campus Life
Colleges many technical clubs namely RMI, 3D, DC, PSI, Spider, Delta force, ProfNITT, ForceHyperloop etc. The top cultural clubs are dance troupe, Musical Club, Film Society etc. Top Fest is Festember which is the annual cultural fest of nitt NITTFEST is an inter department competition fest. Pragyan ista annual technical first of the nitt which is one of the most popular technical India having the ISO rating for sustainability
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are not upto the mark as per the FEES of hostels it's not great but yes not bad too. If you want to enjoy the hostel Life it's a great thing. Mess food is good but yes some caterers are not good for Veg menu. Non veg menu is good everywhere.
Admission
I got this college through JEE Mains through my rank. I have also given CUET in which I got HINDU COLLEGE DU but have rejected that as I thought that B. Tech. Is better for future than doing simple B. Sc. In Physics
Faculty
All the faculty are very much knowledge and expert in their field. Some lack the teaching skills but most of them are very good and humble. Marking is relative in most of the subjects and its on the scale of S,A,B,C,D,E and F
Night Life
There are lot of cafes and night container in the campus so no need to go outside the campus outside the campus you can see it's a highway basically so in her to reach Trichy which is around 25 km by Bus All the minute is available inside the campus itself Domino's CCD Coke Station Anjappar Lassi Shop Bru Stall everything is inside the campus. There are around 20+ stalls in the campus most of them are open until late night and provide hostel delivery too.
