The college has a very good academic standard and the real world example oriented assignments and exams made the learning interesting

Dislikes

once semester starts the three and half months will be full hectic
Assignments are good sometimes it will take time

Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly fee will be around 1.5L, which includes the hostel and mess fee. In addition, students are allowed to do the HTTA, which allows them to get 12,400 monthly, and for that, students need to work 8 hours a week as a teaching assistant.

The fees and policy of this college are not quite acceptable for all those students who want to get study in this college the fees are low it is a medium budget ranged fees for every student to get admission here. The student also has the chance to get a scholarship given by the Central Government and that scholarship provides you financial help to complete their graduation. The Scholarship is mostly provided to those students who are from the EWS category to help them to afford their expenses.

Fees hikes will be generally 1% even less for MS program. Generally it takes around 40,000Rs per semester. I will get HTRA (Half-Time Research Assistantship).under this 12,400 Rs per month will be get in Banks. This is enough to pursue here. I am in 1st year only. Our 2nd year seniors got in global foundries company with 40,000 per month.

I paid total tuition fees around Rs.1,00,000 and total year-wise fees I paid 2,00,000. Both the privately provided as well as govt. approved scholarships schemes were available for us. Although I’m not sure whether there is any scholarship is available for PG students or not. I did not apply for any scholarship scheme.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Financial aid in the form of scholarships and Bank loan is provided/assisted by the institute. Institute Free Studentship, Merit Cum Means Scholarship, SC/ST Scholarship are some of the scholarships to cover the cost of Rs. 4.18 lakhs (course fee). Form filling is separate for the students who are willing to apply for a scholarship followed by a reward in the form of concession in tuition fee.

IIT Madras B.Tech. CSE (Computer Science Engineering) is considered as the best B.Tech. specialisation. This is due to:

B.Tech. CSE has highest cutoff rank around 144-148 which shows its popularity among other branches and higher competition.
