CURAJ Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

CURAJ offers four-year B. Tech degrees in three disciplines, namely, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, and Biomedical Engineering. Annual intake capacity in each discipline is 30 students. Admission is on the basis of JEE Main score.

B.Tech. Eligibility

• Applicants should have completed 10+2 (Science) or equivalent of any recognized board in India with 50% aggregate score or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for reserved category candidates).
• They should have studied Mathematics as one of the optional subjects. For B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, students who have studied Biology as an optional subject instead of Mathematics will also be considered.
• All applicants should have a valid JEE Main score.

B.Tech. Selection Criteria

• Selection for admission into B.Tech is done by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) under the directive of MHRD.
• Selection is done on the basis of JEE Main score and qualifying exam marks. JoSAA will map applicant’s merit with preferences and allocate seat accordingly.

How to apply to B.Tech?

• Candidates need to register with JoSAA for seat allocation and fill their choice of institute and engineering discipline in order of preference at https://www.josaa.nic.in. 
• CURAJ institute code for JoSSA registration is 428.
• The 2024 schedule for JoSAA registration and counseling will be announced after NTA declares the JEE Main ranks for the current admission session.

CURAJ offers a M. Arch. program in Sustainable Architecture with an annual intake capacity of 23 students. Candidates can also pursue a M.Tech in Computer Science, with two specialization options: Cyber-Physical Systems and Information Security. The intake capacity for the two specialization options of M.Tech is 15 and 23 respectively. All the programs are of two years’ duration.

Eligibility

M.Arch.

• Applicants should hold a B. Arch. Degree or equivalent, recognized by the Council of Architecture.
• They should have scored a minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for reserved category candidates).
• The candidates should have qualified either CUET or GATE.

M.Tech.

• M.Tech applicants should have completed either:
• B.E./ B. Tech. (Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science & Technology/ IT), OR
• M. Sc. (Physics/ Mathematics/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ IT), OR
• MCA or equivalent
• The qualifying degree should be awarded by a recognized University/ Institute.
• Candidates should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidate) in the qualifying examination.
• The candidates should have qualified either CUET or GATE.

M.Tech./ M. Arch Selection Criteria

• M.Tech/ M. Arch selection for admission is through the centralized platform CCMT.
• Selection is done on the basis of GATE/ CUET score.
• In case of M. Arch. And M.Tech in Information Security programs each, 12 seats are filled through CCMT for GATE qualified candidates, and 11 through CUET for non-GATE candidates.

How to apply to M.Tech/ M. Arch?

• Candidate with valid GATE Score must apply through CCMT 2024. Non-GATE candidates may appear in CUET 2024.

Registration for CCMT is through https://ccmt.nic.in/ while for CUET, one needs to register online at www.cuet.samarth.ac.in.

The Department of Management under the School of Commerce and Management at CURAJ offers the two-year/ four-semesters Master in Business Administration (MBA) program with a total annual intake of 35 students. Students chooses a specialization in the third semester of the program, the options being Marketing, Finance and HRM. Admission is on the basis of CUET score.

MBA Eligibility

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• The applicant should have scored at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying degree exam.
• Applicants should appear for the CUET to be considered for admission.

Selection Criteria

CUET qualified candidates are shortlisted for admission on the basis of group discussion and personal Interview by CURAJ.

Students can pursue two-year M.Sc program at CURAJ in as many as 17 disciplines including Atmospheric Science, Computer Science (Big Data Analysis), Microbiology, Sports Nutrition, Digital Society among others. Total annual intake capacity for M.Sc is 372, wherein M.Sc in Computer Science (Big Data Analysis) has the highest intake of 50. Admission is primarily on the basis of JAM scores through the centralized counseling and seat allocation platform CCMN.

M.Sc. Eligibility

• Applicants for M.Sc degree should hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject.
• A minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) is required of applicants.
• Applicants need to qualify CUET or JAM in order to be considered for admission.

M.Sc. Selection Criteria

• Selection for M.Sc admission is through the centralized platform CCMN on the basis of JAM scores.
• Candidates who have not appeared for JAM can take CUET and be considered for admission.

The two-year Master of Arts (M.A.) program at CURAJ is available in eight varied disciplines wherein English (35), and Hindi (30) have the highest annual intake capacity; the rest of the disciplines including Culture and Media Studies, Economics, Education, Public Policy-Law-and Governance, Cultural Informatics, and Master of Social Work have an annual intake of 23 students each. Admission to these full-time programs is on the basis of CUET scores.

M.A. Eligibility

• Applicants for M.A. degree should hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
• A minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) is required of applicants.
• Applicants need to qualify CUET in order to be considered for admission.

Selection Criteria

Selection for M.A. admission is on the basis of CUET score as per the norms and procedures laid down by the examination authority.

The Department of Pharmacy under the School of Chemical Sciences and Pharmacy offers the two-year M. Pharm program. The program is available in two specialization options: Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, each with an annual intake capacity of 20 students. The department is duly approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE.

M.Pharm Eligibility

• Applicants should hold a PCI approved B. Pharm degree from a recognized Indian university.
• A minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for the reserved category candidates).
• Candidates with valid GPAT score are preferred. However, such candidates need to register for CUET in order to be considered for admission.

Please note that each applicant should be registered with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within a month from the date of admission at CURAJ, failing which the admission of the candidate shall stand cancelled.

Selection Criteria

Selection for admission is on the basis of GPAT/ CUET score

At the undergraduate level, CURAJ offers unique five-year Integrated programs leading to a Master of Science degree. Students can opt to pursue the degree in eleven different disciplines, namely, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Environmental Science, Linguistics, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, and Statistics. Annual intake capacity in each discipline is 30 students. Admission is on the basis of the national level entrance test – CUET, conducted for Central Universities in India.

Integrated M.Sc. Eligibility

• Applicants should have completed 10+2 in relevant stream of studies.
• Specific specializations like Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Biotechnology would require applicants to have studied Biology as one of the subjects while other specializations like Economics, Statistics and Computer Science requires Mathematics as one of the studied subjects at the 10+2 level.
• A minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying exam is required of applicants.
• Applicants need to qualify CUET in order to be considered for admission.

Selection Criteria

Selection for Integrated M.Sc. program is on the basis of CUET score as per the norms and procedures laid down by the examination authority.

How to apply to Integrated M.Sc. Degree?

• Candidates need to register online for CUET at www.cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Ph.D or the Doctorate of Philosophy program at CURAJ is offered in 22 different disciplines with a combined intake capacity of 152 students a year. Admission to the Research program is as per UGC guidelines.

Ph.D Eligibility

• Ph.D applicants should hold a Master’s Degree in relevant discipline or allied subject.
• Applicants should exhibit a consistently good academic record; a minimum aggregate score of 55% or equivalent grade (50% for reserved category candidates) in both undergraduate and post-graduate levels will be considered eligible for admission.
• Applicants should qualify CUET.

Selection for admission into the Ph.D program is on the basis of CUET scores as per UGC guidelines.
