  • BSc

AI-Generated Summary based on 70 Reviews

Admission to the B.Sc + M.Sc (Economics) program at the Central University of Rajasthan requires candidates to apply through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG). Prospective students must have studied mathematics to be eligible. Post CUET results, students must fill out the university's registration form, after which provisional merit lists are published online. The eligibility criteria include passing the 12th examination with a minimum of 50% for general candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

The cutoff scores for CUET vary annually, though a score above 270 in domain-specific subjects can significantly enhance admission chances. While the admissions process is straightforward involving document verification, students emphasize the importance of adequate preparation for the CUET, as cutoffs are competitive. CURAJ maintains high academic standards with a NAAC A++ accreditation, which enhances its appeal. Its safe campus environment and available hostel facilities, particularly for girls, are noted benefits.

While the college provides a strong educational environment, students appreciate its proximity to home locations, making it a preferred choice for many. The counseling process follows the CUET results, facilitating seat allocation without further internal assessments. This process ensures a smooth transition for students into the university environment post-document verification.

- I chose this college as being central university and established and goverened by the Government of India, they offer a wide range of courses with very affordable fee structure, good infrastructure and really good faculties. - When I applied for other colleges for masters, the plus point with this college was its fee structure and distance from my home. - I applied to Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Lovely Professional University, Amity University but all of them had a fee structure more than the one I chose. I got selected in each one of them and even got scholarship but still the fees and distance from home were the main reasons, I chose this one. - There is an exam called CUCET conducted for admission in all the courses provided by central universities all over India and based on the merit, we get a spot. They have seats reserved for SC, ST and students from J&K.
