Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course randomly but now I think that the emerging field of AI and technology needs people with language background , so this course curriculum can help student become language engineers. The course curriculum is so good and industry based but all these things are not covered in the classroom , students have to do themselves to get good industry opportunities , if students learn the required by themselves then they will get good opportunities. There should be some improvements in the course curriculum and the Teaching methods like there should be industry used topics in the course structure and the industry related topics must be taught so that students get the exposure to the industry demand concepts to get good jobs, the techings must more practical then just theory , also there should be proper faculties for appropriate practical courses. At my college exams are held 3 times a semester in which 2 are internals of 20 marks each and an End sem Exam of 60 marks, the difficulty level of the exams is moderate and everyone with some study during exams can pass the exams easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission Fee : 1100 (one time) Tuition Fee : 2200 ( for 1 semester) *2 = 4400 (for 1 year) Lab Fee : 1430 ( for 1 semester) *2 = 2860 (for 1 year) Library / ICT support fee: 550 (for 1 semester) *2 = 1100 (for 1 year) Exam fee : 550 (for 1 semester) *2 = 1100 ( for 1 year) Sports Fee : 275 (for 1 semester) *2 = 550 (for 1 year) Medical Fee : 330 (for 1 semester) *2 = 660 (for 1 year) Miscellaneous Fee : 1100 (for 1 semester) *2 = 2200 (for 1 year) Student Aid / Welfare Fund : 220 (for 1 year) Annual cashlash Insurrance : 330 (for 1 year) Alumni Contribution : 550 (for 1 year) Contribution Towards corpus Fund : 660 (for 1 year) Deposit (Refundable) (One time): 2160 (for entire course) The total fee for 1st year = 17890 Rs (its high because in 1st year there were many extra fee which are one time fee) The total fee for 2nd year = 14780 Rs The total fee for 3rd year = 16285 Rs The total fee for 4th year = 17945 Rs The total fee for 5th year = 19770 Rs The total Academic fee is = 86760 Rs (for the entire course of 5 year integrated bsc + msc). According to the provided fee structure , there is a rise in the fee of 10% every year. There is no scholarship provided for all the students, only girls avail the scolarship scheme. The fee for other categories like sc , st , obc is same.

Campus Life

3

There are less events held by the administration of the university , almost all events are organised by the students. some workshops are organised by the university like start up workshop, teachers day, Rajsthan day, etc. There are various books and journals available in the central library of my college including : Online Catalogue (OPAC) : the library's OPAC provides access to over 31,500 books, CDs , DVDs, and journals. E-books : the library has a large collection of e-books in various fields which can be accesses 24x7 through the curaj campus network. there are a lot of hard copy books which can be borrowed by the students for 15 days , it is done online. Not all classes have technological advances only a limited number of classrooms have the digital bourd and the smart bourds. The sports grounds are good of all the popular sports but necessary coaching is not provided to the students. No student run social groups are there , some students try to bring politics but politics and elections are not allowed in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

3

Facilities in room : there are two seater rooms , 1 seater rooms and halls , in rooms there is a fan and an almeera and two bad and two table chair are provided. The mess food quality is not much good, its average food with one special dinner in a month . the menu is basically : 3 4 days sweet a week in dinner, in lunch there is curd mild (chhachh) ,daal and bread (chapati ) are availabe with a vegetable which vary almost every day. in breakfast we have tea and coffee (any one of these) sometimes milk , bread with butter and jam. Registration process for hostel is simple just fill hostel accomodation form and submit this form in the hostel office and pay the hostel and mess fee. approximate rent of hostel is around 15000 Rs per year. I did not rent room or PG outside the campus.

Admission

I did not apply for any other university , i chose this university because this is near to my hometown. At my college admission is through the CUET UG examination which is an all india level for various central and state Unversilties. After this exam there is counselling form of this college in which we can apply for various course of the same level as UG. Then there is a document verification and then the final selected students list Almost everyone who apply for this university gets this university , also there is a spot round in which students can take admission if there are vacant seats available in the course.

Faculty

4

The student to faculty ratio is = 13:1 as per the data available of the year 2020-21. Most of the Faculty members are friendly to students and have good behaviour. Some falulty members are not good. Students can meet faculties for any issue and they help the students. Some Faculty which I liked the most are Asst. Prof. Dhanapati Shougrakpam , Asst. Prof. Mehboob Zahid khan, Asst. Prof. Dhananjay Tiwari , Asst. Prof. Sharita Sharma , Assoc. Prof. Deepesh bhati. I like these faculty members as these are good in teaching , and teach very well, and also so helpful. There is no any faculty member whom I dislike , almost every Faculty member is good whom I met. There are 3 exams in a semester namely : CIA 1 (20 marks) , CIA 2 (20 marks) , End Sem Exam (60 marks) The passing criteria is 35/100 overall is required to pass and 21/60 is required in the End sem exam to pass the semester. Initially in the 1st year many students get failed , but the exams are not that difficult to pass, exams can be passes by studying at the time of exams. almost 50% students get back or get failed in some paper initially , but later this percentage decreases.
