Faculty:

Faculty to students ratio is low . There is no enough faculty. The faculty are good ,they behave nicely especially the faculties of chemistry and biochemistry are great at teaching and are friendly also. They don't provide us exam models or don't make us practice more questions. There are 3 exams in a sem. 2 CIA and 1 end sem exam (ese) . CIA is of 20 marks each and the ese is 60 marks . We need 14 marks from combined from both CIA and 21 marks from ese to pass the subject. The lab exams will be conducted parallely . The amount of students failing the exam is also very high.

The faculty is quite good and helps students regarding any issue . One faculty is sir teaches us cloud computing and devops (CCDT) I like that how he is concerned about educating all children equally with equal focus and also improve our logical thinking power by asking logical questions. There is One sir I don't like because he skips lecture and waste lecture time by not taking class properly. 4 internal exams are there includes 3 midterms of avg 10 to 15 marks each and one surprise test of 10 marks with intermediate and easy level Less students fail to clear exams

The student to faculty ratio is = 13:1 as per the data available of the year 2020-21. Most of the Faculty members are friendly to students and have good behaviour. Some falulty members are not good. Students can meet faculties for any issue and they help the students. Some Faculty which I liked the most are Asst. Prof. Dhanapati Shougrakpam , Asst. Prof. Mehboob Zahid khan, Asst. Prof. Dhananjay Tiwari , Asst. Prof. Sharita Sharma , Assoc. Prof. Deepesh bhati. I like these faculty members as these are good in teaching , and teach very well, and also so helpful. There is no any faculty member whom I dislike , almost every Faculty member is good whom I met. There are 3 exams in a semester namely : CIA 1 (20 marks) , CIA 2 (20 marks) , End Sem Exam (60 marks) The passing criteria is 35/100 overall is required to pass and 21/60 is required in the End sem exam to pass the semester. Initially in the 1st year many students get failed , but the exams are not that difficult to pass, exams can be passes by studying at the time of exams. almost 50% students get back or get failed in some paper initially , but later this percentage decreases.
