Hostel facilities were not good when I was a student there.
Mess food was not good at all and we had to look for other options.
No placement cell or guidance regarding placement was available.

Admission:

- I chose this college as being central university and established and goverened by the Government of India, they offer a wide range of courses with very affordable fee structure, good infrastructure and really good faculties. - When I applied for other colleges for masters, the plus point with this college was its fee structure and distance from my home. - I applied to Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Lovely Professional University, Amity University but all of them had a fee structure more than the one I chose. I got selected in each one of them and even got scholarship but still the fees and distance from home were the main reasons, I chose this one. - There is an exam called CUCET conducted for admission in all the courses provided by central universities all over India and based on the merit, we get a spot. They have seats reserved for SC, ST and students from J&K.

I chose GMEC Ajmer because it is one of the govt. engg. college exclusively for women in Rajasthan. Compared to other colleges I applied for , GMEC stood out due to its affordable fee structure, goverment statuss, experiencd faculty, and strong focus on core engineering branches. I also applied to private colleges by WBJEE and cuet exam and got selected in bs degrees . but i choose GMEC because i wanted to opt b.tech degree . In some colleges like mnit and mbm jodhpur , I couldn't get admission because my jee rank didn't meet their cutoff. Admission process at GMEC Ajmer Done through REAP( Rajasthan ENgineering Admission Process ), based on jee ranks or class 12th marks.

The campus life is quite good as most of the people are connected by emotional attachment.
I also like hiw seniors treat their juniors , they help in many aspects.
The teaching staff is quite good as i know.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not that good i think it should be developed.
The computer in labs should be repair at time.
The canteen does not provide good quality food.

So i applied a college in jaipur but i didn't get to go there because of my parents so i cancelled my admission and admitted in in gweca , but as time passes i realised that this is also a good college.

Central University of Rajasthan : An overview and My experience.

The surroundings is peaceful , lot of trees ,gardens etc.. , good for studies.
Each sport have its own ground like cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground.They are all well maintained and we can play there any time ,it is always open.
Art fest and cultural programmes are conducted time to time.

Dislikes

Architecture of buildings is not good . Everything is broken,the walls are cracked .
There is no proper filtered water in hostel and in some of the deptments. The water is little salty and we can't drink it.
Quality of food is not good like no enough salt , there is no spices , the rotis are either burned or uncooked.

Admission:

I have applied to Delhi University for biotechnology, aligarh university. I choose this university because it has 4 yrs bsc course and others had 3yr bsc courses . Entrence exam- CUET ug . Cut off - 200 marks . The admission day was hectic. They didn't provide proper information on which are the things we should bring neither about the applications to be printed out from the University website.

Washroom facilities are not apt like doors don't have latches
Canteen is not well maintained chairs are broken and proper hygiene is not maintained

The main reason was it was in my hometown only plus it is a very reputed college as it is the only girls engineering college in North Indian which attaracts companies a lot. Also the training and placement cell makes a lot of effort as well.

Central University of Rajasthan is Grading Naac A++
All the Facilities are docterated.And this University includes PhD in each and every department.
In this University, The semester exam paper is comes, like Net Exams.thats why students can easily access net exams.

Dislikes

In some of the department have labs...But some of the equipments are not working properly
Girls should enter into the hostel at 10.00 pm. But this restriction is not for boys hostel.
Each of the department need proper placement cell. But sone of the department haven't.

Admission:

This University is comes under Naac A++ grade. That means it's about Autonomous. Then I also want to explore North Indian cultures and foods. First I got admission in Central University of Tamil Nadu. But the college I got admission is an affiliated college. That's why I choose this course in this University.

An average university with good Academics, Infrastructure and good campus life.

I liked the campus environment specially the sports grounds , At my college almost every popular sport grounds are available. The hostels are good having good rooms and average facilities.
Also I liked the faculty members at my college , as mostly faculty members are good and many have friendly nature.
The sports facility is good but there is a need of permanent coaching in various sports. Also hostels facilities need to be improved like facility of hot water during summers should be available.

Dislikes

The placement system is not up to mark , there is no placements in any departments except some which has a little placements.
The mess food is not as expected , mess food is the mega mess (the biggest mess of the campus) is not good, rather mess food in small hostels is average.
Another thing which I disliked is the timing for the Reading Hall its 8 Am to 12 Pm , it should be 24x7, as everyone cant study at hostels , they need proper environment to study.

Admission:

I did not apply for any other university , i chose this university because this is near to my hometown. At my college admission is through the CUET UG examination which is an all india level for various central and state Unversilties. After this exam there is counselling form of this college in which we can apply for various course of the same level as UG. Then there is a document verification and then the final selected students list Almost everyone who apply for this university gets this university , also there is a spot round in which students can take admission if there are vacant seats available in the course.
