Honest opinion on LPU.

Likes

For everything in this college there's a systematic way to do it. It's very smooth to raise a complaint on rooms, electric work or anything. They also respond very quickly. I felt that's very nice for students, there are no problems at all.
Lpu supports students to try anything new like startups or patents or so much more they encourage students alot.
The teachers follow the syllabus and time it accordingly, the tests are also well planned.

Dislikes

The intake for cse department is very huge and it's not a very nice thing, despite the fact that there are too many students they teach everything well
Girls intime is 7:30 pm, after 7:30 girls can't roam in their campus which is restrictive.
This is a pure veg campus, it might be tough for non veg lovers, but we do have one place for chicken in the campus.

Placement Experience:

We have a placement cell and a lot of companies visit lpu. So many big companies like Microsoft Google Flipkart Infosys and many more companies come for campus placements. The highest package of campus was 3 crores and on campus was 64 lakhs. After coming to the college it is purely based on your skill to get placed or not the campus gives enough opportunities for you to prove yourself. Almost every student gets placed in this college but the difference lies in the package.

All about lovely professional University

Likes

There are So much opportunities for students. A dedicated division of students walfare is created for student.
They give you so much support if you are interested in any kind of sports.
Campus is very large. So much diversity you can make friends over world.

Dislikes

Climate of this area is not too good their is so much cold and in summer their is so much hot also .
So much of competition. Because of that much of crowd
Inside campus rules are too strict. Not that much freedom but it's good not that much bad.

In LPU there are lot of company comes for placements I think there are 1500 to 1700 company come every year for placement drive they give you very good offers the maximum of 60 lakh per annum approximately and the minimum offer is of 3 lakh per annum there are lot of companies and there are lot of a student who placed every year from this college the placement department in this college is very good and their tried their best to invite companies in this college for placement drive.

Likes

Campus size is too big and beautiful.lot of greenery
Cultural difference and unity among students with same energy
Good placement as compared to other private colleges.

Dislikes

Large student intake in btech cse which is not good
Placement is not that which is shown in the data
Lot of attendence pressure which makes the curriculum hectec

Placement of the college is good . But there is lot of student intake . So placement is not guaranteed .but university provides best opportunities and best facilities.if you work hard then u can definitely acheive good placement.also you should have good cgpa for this .

Experience of LPU

Likes

The campus vibe is very nice here. The green campus gives peace to student and one can focus with work.
The regular hackathons make their way to the students. Here students get dynamic opportunities to participate in various kinds of activities

Dislikes

The number of students is much. It is understood because LPU has different branches but also the competition makes it impossible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum here in LPU is very tight and continuous. They have continuous assessments every week. Each subjects have 3 to 4 assesments aside the mid term and the end term which makes the student prepare well for the examinations. This keeps them confident enough to fac mid and end sem without any fear which is appreciated.

Lovely professional University tour and experience

Loved the curriculum of the college and also teaching
Also loved the environment of the college
And the college is nature friendly and there are many trees all around.

Dislikes

There is a lot of burden on the students
As we need to complete the assignments before time
And when we complete then at that time our end term starts

Highest package offered in on campus in India from here is 64 lakh and average is 5-6 lakhs. Life at Lovely Professional University

Likes

Good Infrastructure, Big Campus, Different types of class rooms for different lectures, More canteen areas, Big Library, Good environment, High security, Mall for shopping, Hotel for guest stay, Free service in hospital, Events in the college.
No classes on Saturday and Sunday this is most favourite for all the students
It's trying hard to bring best companies in placements, even the situation is worst outside.

Dislikes

University management cases that will cancel the scholarship of students this will happen if we done anything wrong like cheating in exams and caught, fighting with others in campus,..etc
Most of the students don't like hostel food but there are more number of canteens to have food.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, the students can be enrolled in placements. The students having no arrears at that time are eligible for placements. There will be a fee of 14000 to be paid for placements. Many companies visited recently like TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, Carelon Global Solutions, course5I, Blenhim Chalcot, and many more. The average package of a student is 5-6 LPA. This time as the IT market situation is very bad, there is some decrease in the percentage. 40% are only placed. I have secured a job and I will go to that.

Placement Experience:

From the third year students become eligible for campus placements you can go opt for placement. There are many compamies that comes in the university for placements rounds some of them are infosys and amazon with highest offer as far as i know is 3 crore and min is 7-8 lakhs. my plans after the degree is get situated in a good organisation with high pacakge.

Placement Experience:

The university bring more 600plus placement drives. If you not get placed than have to go out find out job in off campus . 98 percent of students were placed every year. Highest package which we got was 3 crore package

I like the behaviour of my university students and also collage staff
My university Lecturer are very supportive
The University is very neat and clean and also look awesome

Dislikes

Ragging in the University is very disappointed
Sometimes the washrooms are not cleaned and dirty
Sometimes the study pressure is too high

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
