DEEP INSIDE IN LPU

Likes

I liked here the giving priority for sportspersons and giving nice scholarship to them because some people have nice talent in sports but not in education so they will encourage you in sports there many Olympians are from this university.
I liked here the campus if far larger than we expect the infrastructure is well built and there are so many learning libraries and we can get more skill so many learning hubs.
I liked here the more Extra curricular activities will be held and we can get certificates and we can add to our CV and here there is an student welfare wing in that we can improve our skills.

Dislikes

I disliked here the exam system here because they will only give end term paper hard here we can write exam 5 times after these attempts also fail it will be an backlog for that re-appears they will cost and give the paper very hard.
I disliked here the costs in the university the middle class people can't buy here anything here so I didn't like here the cost of any objects.
I disliked here the unhygienic in the hostels and here the hostel cleaners not clean the floors and bathrooms clearly.

Placement Experience:

The placements of this university is nice because in year of third year only students getting placed for jobs in nice companies with nice packages there lots of companies is visiting to this university according to university in this year 1223 companies are visited and the highest package in the history of this university is 3 crore of Google and the average package according to the university is 12.3 lack the percentage of students placed are 90% and my plan after getting degree is nice placement job in companies like Google, Flipkart, Amazon etc.

There are some amount of job placements here which they offer in inside the campus . I think after the graduation many people go for master's aboard . In our course . The average package here is 400000 per annum.

The teacher are good. They teach us well.
You can find all different states of students
The ratio is also good in my class like 30 girls and 40 boys

Dislikes

It's too overcrowded. It's too populated
This college has too many restrictions which are okay but still weird

I am in my 2nd year so i don't have that much knowledge in this field. I did paid 13000 rupees for the registration for placement. I don't know why I had to pay but i did. The average package starts from 400000 lakh

My cousins have already graduated from this college You can guess it . Nothing at all they are perfect at their skills. Very tuff world war like tests every month. And it was very very different and difficult.

An Unbiased and Practical review on Lovely Professional University

Likes

Campus life was mostly good enough for the ones who stay good
The placement cell is working well with respect to approaching companies and bringing opportunities
The college has mostly all sorts of amenities within the campus itself

Dislikes

The faculty are all not very bad but only few very good ones mostly mediocre
There are many unnecessary rules with hostel entrance or roaming in night
There are so many security guards everywhere given good amount of power to cause disciplinary actions

Placement Experience:

The placement cell was good enough and worked for bringing more and more companies to the college. It even gave notifications for off campus hirings of big MNCs on unstop or other platforms The placements mostly start 5th semester onwards and the eligible companies are listed on each student's placement portal were he could chose for which to register or not. Amazon also hired 11 interns on campus at 1lakh per month. Highest package offered this year officially was 52 lpa and average for top 10% packages is 12 lpa but most packages now are around 5-7 lpa. I'm also currently on an internship

Decent in academics good for extra-curricular

Likes

LPU is renowned for it's infrastructure and campus life there are almost 60 academic buildings in the campus also there are several food stalls also we have an entire shopping mall inside the campus there are grocery stores available.
There are fests and functions happening in lpu almost every day life is very happening here there are various competetions held on daily basis where prizes are awarded
There is cosmopolitian population here and people from all over India reside in the campus also there are no threats of ragging here the university is very strict about it and regulates consumption of tobacco.

Dislikes

There are almost 30000 students in LPU and so much crowd is clausterphobic and also gatherings are very common crowd is present almost everywhere.
Campus is very vast we have to walk almost 2 km everyday with heavy laptops in back there are e-karts available but they are costly.
Some faculties are reallly rude also I don't like the assignment process here almost 2 assignments are alotted every week

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing B-TECH and my courses are 7 and apart from 11 and 12 we have extra python and HTML. I personally feel physics and maths are burdened in the sem because their syllabus was limited to what I had studied in calss 11 and 12. Also the python course was quite rigid and the teaching was fast paced also the dependence on laptop created a fuss. If python and HTML are taught with more creativity and with some time it will be great for all the students to grasp the concepts very well and if the burden of assignments is limited then students can code more.

Collage ambiance is very nice and beautiful
Interacting with different culture and different countries people

Dislikes

All are sales jobs maximum clg providing
Strict rules and over importantance and permissions to security gaurds
No non veg available in the campus which becomes more difficult

Placement opportunities are high in lpu nearly 200 companies are visiting every year in only cse department as compared to this there is much more companies are visiting for recruitment in every different domains.

Lovely life

I like the infrastructure of this college.
There is a lots of chance to select in any sports.
Studies are good and environment is good.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
