Gitam college has very beautiful campus that feels welcoming.The green surroundings, well maintained gardens and clean pathways and peaceful surrounding for students.One of the most remarkable features of the campus is availability of study areas.
Suppoortive Faculty ,the professors and staff are genuinely care about students.They explain concepts clearly,provide,guidance and encourage participation,making the learning process.The faculty also motivate students to engage in projects .
It has wide range of clubs,events and activities ensuring students can explore their interests beyond studies. Sports facilities encourage physical fitness and a competive spirit.This clubs focus on arts,music,dance and drama allow students to enjoy

Dislikes

The things i have not liked are Limited pratical exposure,the lack of hands on pratical exposure in some courses.While the theoretical knowledge provided is detailed .The equipment and tools used in certain departments do not match current standards.
Another thing I have didnot like is high fees.This can be stressful for many students and their families,especillaly when additional costs for food and study materials.
Limited placement support for all courses,placement support lacking .

*The specific aspects of the curricilum that influcenced my decision to choose this course is the job opporutunity this course have. *Greatly the curriculum prepares me for real world applications and further academic. *Im not in that stage to suggest my teachers. *sem and mid will have 2:00 hours of time to write exam.The difficulty level depends on level of our preparation.

What LPU really is from inside

The infrastructure is quite impressive, the classes are very large and spacious.
Really safe campus for girls. The boy to girl ratio is quite equal but varies with every clas
The relaxing time table is the best thing. We have our classes from 1-5, 9-12, 11-3 like this which varies every day. It isn't so hectic like most of the colleges are 9-5

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester the students become eligible for the placements and the top student gets placed in the companies with the good packages where as the students with no CGPA gets job at their deserving packages in the highest package made was 72LPA for second largest was 56LPA. to set in the placements you have to go through the placement drive and give extra charges of 18000 to take training for the placements and interviews

Review for lovely professional University

Likes

All cultures are available in university. You can get mingle with all cultural people and get to know about their traditions and habitats
No need to go out of the campus. You can get everything inside the campus. Everything is available inside only.
Nice campus and good scenery you can get. Huge campus

Dislikes

Nonveg is not available in the campus. It is a pain in a** for non vegitarians
Unnecessary umc cases will be issued by some wrong people
More strict sometimes you can feel like you are in school or something

In college placements are good but in aerospace average package is of 5.5 to 7.5 lakhs per annum. If you want job is core companies this is the package and if you want more package then I suggest don't go for core companies

Infrastructure is good. It has large diversity and has beautiful campus .
Large diversity and well furnished classroom and labs
Very cooperative teacher. Great change to apoear in placements.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible to apply for placement in many companies. Minimum 7 cgpa required to apply in company. If students get placement they can continue for work .About 90 persent students get placement every year .

A Brief Review On Lovely Professional University

Likes

the atmosphere, infrastructure and the crowd is almost welcome and friendly
the classrooms are large and airy and is equipped with projectors.
the hostels are clean and the sports facilities are great.

Dislikes

the teachers and students interaction is very less and the teachers are not that welcoming in case of doubts.
A lot of people in the campus may make u feel like u are in a crowd.
To stand out among ur peers u need to work extra hard and dedicate a significant amount of time to studies.

Placement Experience:

The placements starts from the 6th semester and student must secure a minimum grade to be eligible for the placements. But lpu has a placement record and the avg package is 5 lpa. 80 percent students are placed from bech cse and more higher studies.

Lpu is the worst college it s a business

Likes

Only good thing is campus fees is too high outside atmosphere is too teribble
Not good atmosphere as crowd is more and placement is too low
Infrastructure and college professor are good but too crowded classroom with 75%attendnce is must and they scam students by not providing daily attendance and making everything possible to not let you reach 75%so that you have to reapply for exam

Dislikes

All the things not good too high price not letting students seek proper education
Not food environment for students you should have patience to complete your degree on time
They just treat students like money pocket they will destroy yoir future for some lakhs

Too much crowded classroom not able to srudy as you wished just in case you will be just a part of crowd engineer who don't have a decent job after spending lakhs of rupees just its a scam going on the basis of studies totally fraud

It's somehow worth it.

Here we literally got the diversified culture. Excluding the Indians, we got students from nearly 50 plus countries and all of them are very intelligent and engaging.
College culture is always happening and there's always something going on in any cornor.
You'll get the world clsss infrastructure and i literally mean it.

Dislikes

Yes there's a large number of students due to easy entrance and high acceptance rate.
Most of the teachers are not up to the mark
Girls boys ratio is average, like not so good not so bad

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good, we can see all types of companies comming in the campus. And when I say all types of companies, i literally mean it....from zero to one all. It's on your calibar whichever you can crack, that's yours.

I liked the examination system which is awesome like no one can cheat in exam
I think regarding boy to girls ratio is not good because usually girls don’t like computer stream very much that’s why
Faculty is very supportive and helping and teaching staff is also very good

Dislikes

As it is seen that lpu have good infrastructure but it is too big and many people in the college which is not good I guess
UMC (unfair means case) this is not good because if we don’t know the some rules and we break the rule and we will get umc after 3 minor our scholarship will end
I think syllabus is somewhere outdated because in this era in field of cse we have to learn about ece

Placement Experience:

See on ad Lpu showing that they are giving 3cr placement which is not correct because one of senior got placement of it's own and he was from Lpu and learned for Lpu i guess but actual package is 64 lakhs on 2024 and one of my brother friend is got 14 lakhs per Annum and they are really giving on campus placement and we can also go for off campus placement

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.
The university's popularity is high due to its large student population from different regions of India.
LPU offers international exposure to students from foreign countries, enhancing language skills through interaction.
LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
