Course Curriculum Overview

Nodoubt cse course has more chance of placement than other courses and provides more packages than other courses. In cse students get chance to study basics of all other couses.tgere are some area of improvement

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies visited in campus every year like Google Amazon, Mucrosoft, Flipkart, cisco, and many other companies. These companies provide placement as well as internship.these companies hive very great expectation to students.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students are eligible to apply for placement in many companies. Minimum 7 cgpa required to apply in company. If students get placement they can continue for work .About 90 persent students get placement every year .

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is 112000 per semester with 4500 examination fee per semester and 80000 is hostel fee per annum and 34000 is mess fee for two times meal. If students qualify in LPUnest schlarship exam then they will able to get admission and take benefits of scholarship that can reduce tution fee.

Campus Life

College celebrates many festivals like national festival diwali christmas Holi and many more restivals related to different religion in campus. College has a very big library of 5 floor each floor have other branch book.

Hostel Facilities

Lpu has single seater hostel to 8 seater hostel with ac or without AC. One bed, one table ,And one almirah prove to students in hostel . Weekly room clean is available . If students can live in ourside of university thay can take room on rent in law gate colony and green valley colony at very cheap rate

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

This is only college where I apply and get admission because it has large diversity and more placement offer than other colleges. The average package of this college se s 10 lakhs. It has very beautiful infrastructure and security facility.

Faculty

There are 3 CA of each subject and one midterm exam and one Endterm . Midterm and Endterm both are compulsary But in CA only two are compulsary. Best of two will awarded to final result. If students fail in endterm thay will get 5 times reappear then after he will get backlog if he will fail.

Night Life

In campus there are 3 gym and many food courts and in food courts there are many shops where students can eat mant things till 11 pm. Boys can exit from hostel at any time but girls are not allowed to exit after 8 pm

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
